This new Total Wine and More is just South of Hwy 78 and San Marcos Blvd. They have a good variety of wines beers and spirits. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I found what I was looking for. That being said, I feel this store can improve the selection of single beers to chose from. It may be that the store is so new they are working on this already. Either way I will be visiting here again. Thanks TW&M!

Class for Wine 101 was lead by “Pam”. An unbelievable resource for the company, and a delight to listen to as she informed us as various wines from around the world. Paired with her personal experiences that painted beautiful pictures in my mind. Take a class for $20 and relish in the fact you should’ve paid $40 to $50! 9 wine tastings with WONDERFUL hors d’oeuvres!

I left Bevmo for TWM about a year ago and so happy I did. Prices and choices are better and it's always a really good experience when I pick up my online orders at the San Marcos store.

I believe the g manager named ryan was very rude and inconsiderate. I asked if they priced match and was told only grocery stores and mainly bevmo. I asked about wal mart and he states that I need proof, documentation, and slim chance that they would honor it. Another assist manager Becca was also rude. I traveled there twice from temecula looking for a special jack daniels. Arriver there 8 am hoping to be the first person there. When they opened the doors and asked if they received the bottles that morning they replied I don't think so. OK. "Do you mind checking if they received delivery from the distributor but they denied." I think I am done with total wine. Temecula total wine is great. G manager Rosie is awesome. Always takes time to check and follow up. My mom.and I are grand reserve members. But time to move on. COSTCO is cheaper and they are so polite.

Unprofessional and Discriminatory Experience

Every time we visit Total Wine we’re faced with the same frustrating experience. There’s an employee (Carson) who repeatedly tries to push us toward other bottles without additives, despite us clearly stating that we’re not interested and we are there for a specific product. It feels like he’s not listening and insists, making the whole shopping experience uncomfortable and awkward.

Yesterday, things took an unacceptable turn. When I asked for a Don Julio bottle, the employee Carson made a discriminatory remark, saying, “Just so you know, the money doesn’t go to Mexico.” This was said in front of a cashier and customers. We found the comment not only inappropriate but offensive.

We did report it to the manager, but after dealing with this ongoing issue and the discriminatory tone of the interaction, we felt the need to share this review. Previous to the experience we had yesterday, total wine was a place we shopped at very often. Customers should be able to shop without facing such unprofessional behavior or discriminatory remarks.

This is a great store. I highly recommend it, however you should be careful - the bottle sleeves are poorly made. Many of them are defective (notice the lack of any glue in my photo) and will cause the wine to fall out. The staff was aware of the problem but didn’t seem to care. I suggest you bring your own bags

I recently was at Winco foods looking for a bottle of brandy. During the holiday season I use brandy for holiday drinks and such. They were out of remy VSOP. so someone suggested I try this location. I googled, saw they had the brandy and proceeded to the store. Once there I asked for assistance, the lady there took me to the brandy section, then the guy who worked there came along to look in a locked case of liquor. I dont drink often, so I am unfamiliar with hard alcohol. He says you want Hennessey? Noo not at all, as I keep telling him the specific item I'm looking for. But because I'm African American I guess he decided I needed Hennessey ! I do not nor have I ever drink Hennessey liquor. Needless to say, they did not have the brandy I needed. I felt insulted and disrespected. It's becoming par for the course in San Diego county , their discreet and not so discreet biases and racism are becoming hard to ignore. Why are all the products that black people buy frequently in locked cages in this establishment? 69 percent of shoplifters are white. Just so you guys are informed. I will never shop here again.
