The Glorious Fig was the perfect venue for our wedding! Debbie, Steph, and Patty were a delight to work with and made all of our dreams come true. They were so thoughtful throughout the planning and during the event, we had nothing to worry about and as a bride I couldn’t ask for more! The food was delicious, the cake was delicious, the drinks were delicious. The space is exceptional, the patio is perfect on a cool summer night, and the staff are amazing.

The Glorious Fig was the venue my sister chose for her June wedding and it was truly the perfect spot for an intimate en plain air ceremony and cozy reception. The owners and staff were very accommodating (letting us decorate the ceremony space with an arch) and attentive (the servers learned my cocktail of choice for the evening and kept it coming 😁 it was a blood orange cocktail and it was to die for!).

After the lovely ceremony and before we were asked to come inside to dine, we were served beautiful charcuterie boards for appetizers. These were loaded with every single tasty bite you could hope for on the lavish spreads.

Then dinner! From the first bite of truly delectable French onion soup, to the citrus salad simply bursting with flavor, and on to the savory main course of pork tenderloin with “glorious” fig and Gorgonzola, the perfectly baked sourdough bread with butter filled my mouth with happiness in every bite!

We followed with dancing outside in the courtyard and to be honest I ate so much beforehand, that I only took a tiny taste of one of the cakes that had these amazingly creative flavor combinations. So I can’t really review the 3 cakes except to say they looked divine.

If you want a lovely downtown Grand Junction space for your intimate wedding with owners and staff who take pride in providing the best service and locally sourced food to be enjoyed in their lovely space then look no further…book the Glorious Fig! You will be happy you did!

The Glorious Fig is indeed Glorious. This place is wonderful. The venue is beautiful and amazing. It sets just the right tone. It’s a perfect spot for gathering with good friends and enjoy each other’s company with amazing food. The real treasure is the owner Debbie - she is the kindest host, whose attention to detail and passion for her space make this truly a one of a kind spot and experience.

This place is a secret gem! Seriously, you get to it by way of an alley between two building. We used it for video interviews and it worked perfectly. Lots of fun decor and interesting lighting. But it was Debbie that added the personal, extra touches and food that made it amazing!

We chose The Glorious Fig for the rehearsal dinner for our son's September wedding. We live out of state and I found the Fig by Googling. During a February ski trip to Vail my husband and I drove two hours west to check out possible sites. The Fig was the first place I saw on Google, it looked cute, so we toured it as soon as we rolled into town. I was charmed by the venue and the owner Debbie Dietmeyer, but still, choosing them was a gamble as I knew nothing about Grand Junction. It was one of the better choices I've made in years! I cannot recommend them enough. The staff was amazing. The food was fabulous. The venue is absolutely charming. Everything was handled to perfection. This is a small thing, but one example that I especially loved was the after dinner French press coffee. Plus all the designer cocktails. Great event - love this place!! FIVE STARS PLUS!!!

Great as an event space! Wedding reception hosted at the Fig was a highlight of our time in GJ.
Drinks: The bartender was top notch. Kate? clearly knew her craft. She whipped up some truly great variations of traditional cocktails and had some delicious originals on the menu along with truly excellent mocktails.
Food: Not sure what to highlight here, but everything was delicious. A gastro style deconstructed salad that sounded odd but was a delight. Pork tenderloin with an interesting filling that also pleasantly surprised; pasta, dessert...
Staff was great throughout! Including dealing with our family activities and several rambunctious kids. The space was excellent we were nearing capacity for and indoor group just shy of 30 but the discs was setup beautifully.

If you have the time and budget, it's well worth the experience.
