There seemed to be a lot of hype around this place, so I was not sure it was going to live up to all the high praise. But, I think for the breakfast/brunch food we had, it did live up to expectations. The hash browns were crispy, seasons well, and exactly what I think of when I'm craving hash browns. The cheese sauce on the croque madam was great, fried egg cooked perfectly. The croissants were good, especially the almond. I think the lox would be better on a bagel or sturdy bread instead of a croissant, but other than that it was very very good. Will definitely go back and happy to hear about a downtown location opening.

Delicious! So much flavor. The buttered croissant is buttery, light and fluffy on the inside with a wonderful crunch on the outside. Worth the price and worth the wait. The box they put my croissants in looked like it was framing the all-star. Maybe next time they will have a bacon, egg and cheese croissant. ? That would be a perfect way to travel back home with my treasures! I will definitely be back.

Super cute little place, reminds me of a French cafe. Each table has a different tiny salt and pepper shaker and a small vase with fresh flowers. The plates are of various old patterns and look thrifted (in a charming way). Food was delicious, light, and fresh. Portions were small for the price I paid. My $5.50 slice of cake was the thinnest I've ever gotten at a restaurant. Hopefully it's delicious. Mothers should note this place is narrow and it's hard to navigate with a stroller...but not impossible!

I love everything about The Croissantarie.

All of their pastries are handmade and baked fresh by the amazing owners, Jill & Wendy.

The staff always has a big smile on their face and greets you with enthusiasm as soon as you walk through the door.

They offer local Arkansas Coffee daily for guests, including Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee.

Not only are their pastries outstanding, they offer a huge breakfast and lunch menu that you cannot skip over.

The burgers are my personal favorite.

Make sure to visit their original location here or the newly opened location in Downtown Little Rock.

10/10 to this amazing, locally owned business

I’ve dined in as well as take out. It’s a small space with a quaint atmosphere. The line moved very slow. Two cashiers would be better than one to make the line move faster. The plain croissant was $5 which I thought was a little pricey for a plain croissant. I loved the breakfast croissant but not a fan of the spread placed between some of their croissants. The cinnamon rolls look absolutely delicious. The texture and amount of icing was perfect. I think that the cinnamon rolls could use a little more salt for flavor and to offset the taste of yeast. Overall, excellent food and I will definitely continue to support the restaurant.

I’m trying real hard to write the perfect review here. Part of me is speechless honestly, simply because I’m just now enjoying this lovely spot and wowed at every moment I’ve experienced. They’ve been in my “backyard” for 2 years now and I’ve really been missing out. But everything happens for a reason.

Came here on Wednesday this week…got a to go order because I was just heading home from the gym and wanted something different for lunch. I kept hearing and seeing posts about this place. I had to take the opportunity to try it out. Again, I had a to go order. One Lady Bird (chicken salad sandwich), cheese soup, and a chocolate croissant for my daughter. I know…not the best lunch for an after work out meal but…at least I did work out.

While waiting, just 5 mins, the energy, vibe, the…joy I felt. Almost made me regret I was getting a to go order. They were playing fun, lively music. The counter staff all smiles. Singing, happy to greet you. While the back house steady away making excellent food. It’s a Wednesday at 12 mind you. I literally felt like I could hang out with these people that I barely know. This is the hook…joy. They love what they do and are humble, caring.

As I was waiting and seeing the line get longer, you watch as regulars keep coming in, greeted like family. The Lady Bird is a hot item and soon I’ll come to find out why. It’s a delicious chicken salad on its own. Not heavily seasoned and salty. No grapes and unnecessary fruit and vegetables. It does have apple for the small crunchy bit but it’s chopped so finely you barely notice. The croissant alone is flakey, big, buttery without being oily. On the WLR side we have found, finally, a great chicken salad sandwich. But…I was alone. So….

I had to bring my wife with me and order something more substantial for lunch. Today is Saturday and we decided to go across the street for lunch. Got there at 11:45, line wasn’t too long….yet. Bc we are getting this Eclipse Monday, most restaurants in town are doing Eclipse themed meals. I just so happen to see the piece of paper above advertising their Eclipse burger and I had to order it. My wife ordered the Lady Bird.

Food arrived fast, I mean 5 mins. Quick! Burger was placed, this black bun on a smash burger with grilled onions. Took my first bite….in my mind the perfect amount of flavor. I was beyond impressed. A croissant place…has an outstanding burger?! My wife looked at me like something was wrong bc of the look on my face. I was confused and shocked at the same time. I had to take another bite to confirm everything. I’m telling you….freaking delicious! I told my wife, “this burger is on point. It’s really good.”

Here in LR, I consider Town Pump to have a great burger. MockingBird also has a great burger. There’s other spots I consider to be good too. Big orange has good fancy, creative burgers. But a traditional, good burger? Now The Croissanterie has….a great burger and finally we have a burger spot in WLR to brag about. It’s not massive. It’s not greasy and messy. It’s a delicious smash burger that doesn’t come from a dive bar.

That’s not all in this long post. One of the owners came over to greet us. Her and I easily talked for 15 mins and again…that’s it….joy. I could feel it. As we were talking, hearing their impressive story on how this place came to be, I kept seeing streams of people walking in. Regulars, new, some I knew. It felt like we just came over to a friends house and had lunch. A friend that has a big family and everyone is welcome over today. I can’t say that I get that vibe at many places here in LR. Very few come to mind.

We’ve found a new and soon to be regular spot for us. It was 1:00 and we’ve been here for a few. Stuffed but…I had to get dessert to go. My heart did the ordering and not my brain. Ordered 3 croissants to go. Chocolate, cookie dough, and turtle. That turtle with a glass of milk at home….man was it good. This is a lot right? But this is what this place does. You want to keep enjoying it, all of it. To almost be a part of it.

We were lucky enough to get tickets before they sold out to their September Supper Club. The menu was delicious and what a treat to be able to meet the chefs and listen to them describe the different courses. Worth every penny and we hope to participate in more.
