Absolutely fantastic Spanish based restaurant. It’s one of our staples now. Fresh seafood, entrees are incredible and most recently the cheesecake was delectable!!!! Highly recommend for anyone in the Four Corners! Service is on point. Lovely ambiance. Call in advance for reservations!

Stopped in last night. It was great. I travel a lot for work and like to dine by myself. As a a 30-something female this can sometimes be a surprisingly difficult social situation to navigate. Based on the photos it didn’t look like they have a bar, which is my normal go to. I called and the folks said they would have a table ready for me when I arrived. The wait staff was attentive and engaged. They let me enjoy my meal but also assured I didn’t feel alone. I stuck to tapas so I could try an array of things on the menu without waste. Best selection of sherries and vermouths I have seen in the state outside of Barcelona in Denver. Portions were on the larger side for the price. Will highly recommend to anyone traveling through SW Colorado.

My best friend and I came in for a birthday dinner. The food was incredible. We had several appetizers that we shared and chocolate cake for dessert. The owners are friends of ours and we loved being in their amazing restaurant. Jen called me today to confirm our reservation.

Perfect place to celebrate! I took my friend here to thank her for being my local tour guide. The Boathouse is first class all the way; terrific food, memorable atmosphere, and first class service. We shared the cheese plate appetizer and the radicchio salad. I had the flatiron steak and my friend enjoyed her duck leg. We had leftovers and unfortunately no room for desert. The vegetables in the salad are fresh and grown locally. The cheese was an excellent mix of soft and hard, four excellent choices. The flatiron steak was cooked to perfection, very tender, and it tasted better than most filet mignon steaks I have had. The owner explained that they discovered a precious local rancher who provides the best Wagyu beef you could find.
My friend has several food restrictions that took a while to explain to the waitress. It was no problem for this kitchen. Our waitress was fully on top of our order and all of our needs throughout the dinner, and very good at helping to make selections. You will enjoy your time here, and you will want to return quickly.

While I was very excited to come to this restaurant, thanks to my mother’s praises of the delicious food, my excitement was quickly cut short by the condescending owner. Having just come from a wedding, we acquired one extra guest, which was apparently an inconvenience to the owner. We even offered to bring in our own chair.

Our waitress, Courtney, however, was a sweetheart and I adored her. She was very sweet to my mother (the bride) and everyone else at the table. I do not blame any of my lesser experience on her.

The food was delicious, my wagu steak being flavorful and juicy, however, I didn’t notice that it was too rare in the middle until I was halfway through my meal. I had an upset stomach the rest of the night. I usually order my steak medium rare, so it may have also been just a bad night for me, so I’m not going to blame the restaurant too much. Though another member of my party said the cod fritters were very dry, which she was very sad about.

Hopefully, if I ever up back, I’ll have a better experience.

Top notch restaurant in the sweetest little town of Mancos! The oysters and steak are to die for, but the ever changing menu is always a nice to treat to check out. Service is amazing. Whether you live or are staying in or around the area, this place is a must!

My husband and I celebrated our first year anniversary here! We had been given a tip from our friends who enjoyed what they coined an “amazing experience.” One of the couples owns 4 restaurants in Telluride, so we knew if they enjoyed it, then it must be good! We did our homework prior to arriving and knew exactly what we wanted and were hoping they’d have it on the menu, as we know they bring in items fresh and weekly changes may occur. We love that about a restaurant! We went to Fenceline Cider prior to our reservation. We ran into a friend and she said to us make sure to try out the Boathouse. She didn’t realize we were on our way there… again, one more recommendation prior to eating there! We loved everything about this place to the simple ambiance, not too many tables, and top notch service. Everything we ate was INCREDIBLE! The owners were so sweet and even left us a little note saying Happy first year Anniversary at our table! We highly recommend this to locals, visitors, folks 2 hrs + away! You won’t be disappointed! Lucky for us we’re nearby so we will be eating here again soon. Thanks Jenn and David for making our first anniversary memorable.. and our waiter! I forgot his name…

I recently dined at The Boathouse on Grand after attending a wedding, and unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the rude behavior of the owner. We arrived and needed to add one person to our reservation. Instead of accommodating us, the owner greeted us with a condescending and rude tone, making it clear that our request was a nuisance. We even went as far as providing our own fold out chair just so our guest could sit at the same table.

Their dismissive attitude made the entire dinner uncomfortable, especially after such a joyful occasion. We felt belittled rather than welcomed, which completely soured our evening. The food was decent, but the atmosphere was tainted by this interaction. It’s a shame that a restaurant with such potential is let down by its owner’s poor customer service. I won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to come to this restaurant.

Our server Courtney was amazing and the main highlight of our experience at The Boathouse on Grand. She was very welcoming and accommodating for our party.
