Looking at all the reviews and review photos, I thought this was a $10 sandwich shop, but I arrived to a nicer restaurant with $30-40 entrees. What 🤔 I think they should rebrand on Google if they shifted the focus and price this much. Food was good, service was good, but I was looking for something quick and cheap and spent over double what I expected to.

Spoons does a lot, and your experience will look different depending on what time of day you're there.

My date and I went for an evening out and were pleasantly surprised by the juxtaposition of a Michelin class menu in a quaint and homey diner-esque restaurant. I myself was even more floored by not only the service (thank you, Ashley) but by the food as well. From appetizer, entree, and dessert, my palate was in marvel and awe. Every bite just as fantastic as the last. I had to let our server know to please commend the chefs for such exemplary presentation and delivery. Everything was cooked to desired PERFECTION if that had ever been achievable to begin with. Without droning on, I can not recommend having dinner here enough.

For 2 people, 3 courses shared with a bottle of wine and 20%+ gratuity, we spent $150. BEYOND worth it.

The only reason this isn't a full 5-stars is just the misleading atmosphere. You definitely get contemporary cafe/diner vibes for a place that's a little more conservative.

Side note and entirely not on the restaurant, but the clientele aren't nearly as hospitable and accommodating as the staff. While my date and I aren't the type of people to be easily offended, it was comical the amount of side-eyes and, at times, blatant stares we received by other guests. Sure, we looked a little macabre compared to the rest of the crowd, but we had plans after dinner too. No harm no foul, just a little funny.

It was a clean and mellow atmosphere. You go to the counter to order, and they give you a buzzer thing to indicate when your food is ready. It is first come, first serve seating. When you're done eating, you buss your own table.
The majority of the ingredients are from local farms. We (family & I) had the burger with sweet potato fries, a grand valley burger with shoe string fries, and a beef quiche with fruit. All 3 meals were delicious. One surprising discovery was the stubborn black cherry soda with tarragon (yum).

I don't think we will be going back to Spoons again. Which is unfortunate, because the food is really good. But the service is horrible. Today, we waited an inordinate amount of time for our buzzer to go off. It never did. When I finally got up to see what was going on, they had all our food there, but it was cold. They just let it sit there and let us sit and wait while it got cold. This is actually the second time we have had a very similar experience. This is just not acceptable service.

I would call this place Grand Junctions best kept secret except the line is there at 11:30. It's easy to find

The food very good. The burgers are half pound and char broiled.

The daily specials look awesome.

Beautiful restaurant to celebrate a 90 year olds birthday. Delicious dinner, tender prime rib, great flavor in the shrimp and steak. the creme brulle was flavorful, but seemed small. I'll go with the ice cream cake next time. It looked large enough to share.

We unexpectedly found this gem and were doubly pleased because the food is very tasty but the mission to help HopeWest is even cooler! To support this mission, prices may be a bit higher than you would expect for breakfast but the portions are enormous and easily shareable with a friend! Check this place out sometime soon.

- Amazing outdoor dining area with lots of seating (covered and uncovered, with heat lamps), a little walking trail, and a small pond
- Fast and easy service

You order here at the counter whenever you are ready and have a call back button to pick up your food. The menu has a huge variety of food so you can even take those picky eaters here. Burgers, fish, soups, sandwiches, salads, pastas, sides, desserts, and a kid's menu. They also have coffee, juices, sodas, smoothies and milkshakes. Everything here tastes amazing and is very reasonably priced. I will be coming here a lot to not only enjoy the huge menu and great food, but also the giant outdoor eating area.
