I was on the hunt for a female baker who could make my fiancé and I the perfect heart shaped cake for our City Hall wedding dinner. I found Dina and immediately reached out. We then jumped on a call to have a vibe check and discuss the details of our dream cake. Dina was extremely professional and also really great energy! We felt super comfortable with her and her offerings as well as the price! I made her a short 1 pager with visuals of what we wanted (because there were certain things we really wanted) but I also wanted her to have some creative freedom. She was very communicative during the whole process and always responded pretty quick when we had quick questions. We checked in the week before the wedding and she assured us it was all on track and ready for the day. The day before, she was texting me to make sure I approved the cake design but also the font we wanted for “Just married”! I was soooo happy she did that cus what we thought we wanted there, we ended up going a different route! So I was super happy with how she confirmed everything before final touches! We paid extra for delivery and when she came, we nearly cried as we were in disbelief! She had made us our absolute dream cake and even surprised us with little pearls on top and we were so in love! Not only was it beautiful, but it was sooo yummy and a hit with our guests! I’m so so happy we took a chance on a baker that we didn’t know because she absolutely delivered for us! I would happily reco her and use her again. Thank you, Dina!

Dina was amazing start to finish. She was collaborative, creative and a joy to work with. I ordered a custom cake and cookies. Both were absolutely delicious! I had number cookies made for my sister’s birthday and they looked unbelievable!!! Not only were they absolutely stunning but they were so, so delicious!! Dina was also so awesome to work with! I’m only sorry I forgot to get pictures. Highly recommend!!

We are over the moon with the beautiful and, more importantly, DELICIOUS custom treats Dina made for my son’s first birthday party. I requested Pokeball decorated cupcakes, custom Pokémon sugar cookies, and a chocolate buttercream chocolate cake that was customized for Bulbasaur. I submitted inspiration images via inquiry and received a quick response. Something I appreciated a lot was Dina’s honest assessment of the cake inspirations I submitted. I originally had requested a much more complicated cute style I saw online and Dina gave me the price for it, but also provided, in the same response, an option that would be more affordable and would allow for a cake topper. We went with the second option and I purchased a cake topper from another small business on Etsy, and the cake with Bulbasaur inspired decorations turned out absolutely adorable. Lastly, everyone commented on how the treats were not just adorable but yummy! One friend said they had just gone to a one year olds birthday party with custom cookies that looked cute but tasted awful, so they were wary, and then shocked how delicious it was. I especially loved the chocolate chocolate cake. We still have some frozen slices that I’ve been slowly treating myself to for desserts. I will be coming back to Space Cadet for future parties!

I feel very lucky to have found Dina! Space Cadet Baking Company came highly recommended in an SF Parents’ group. Dina made an awesome cake for my child’s 6th birthday. He requested a rainbow layer cake covered in rainbow sprinkles. That is exactly what he got, and the cake was delicious!
Working with Dina was great! She communicates well and her work is fantastic. I highly recommend Space Cadet Baking Company, and look forward to working with Dina (and eating more of her cake) again soon!
