We were recommended Roots by friends and had high hopes. We were BLOWN AWAY by the food, service, cleanliness, and atmosphere. Our expectations were FAR exceeded and cannot wait to go back. We both got the breakfast burritos that are made fresh to order all the way down to the perfectly cooked eggs. You pick your own fillings making the burrito cooked to personal perfection. The orange juice was fresh and coffee was dark and strong. The tortillas were hand made. Overall the best experience I’ve had dining out. We love supporting small businesses!

My boyfriend and I stopped here on the way home during a road trip, and it did not disappoint! Our burgers were wonderfully crafted and had so many fresh ingredients! The loaded potates were also wonderful. We will be stopping again whenever passing through Grand Junction. Trust the ratings!

One of the best coffee spots in Grand Junction! With a laid back atmosphere, local vibes, and a great indoor-outdoor patio. Plus it’s dog friendly! My favorite thing on the menu is the breakfast burrito but I’ve yet to have anything I didn’t like. The staff is great and will make you feel at home. Don’t miss this spot!

Vegan options are plentiful and DELICIOUS!!! Hummus like I wish my mama made. FRESH veggies. Plant based meatball Sammie is a dream. Friendly and quick service. Large outdoors eating area for a nice day. I’m happy. The best Cuban coffee outside of Miami.

Staff was helpful in explaining the menu and what vegan options they had. They recommend the breakfast burrito (because it's popular), they just didn't tell me that the vegan options cost more as subs (which is fine and I should have assumed, I guess). We showed up about an hour before they closed for the day. There wasn't a line but all the seating inside was taken and, while outside there was plenty of seating, all but two of the tables were in direct sun. We waited for one of the two tables with umbrellas to open up; our food was prompt.

The burrito was good for the price and decently filling. I'd eat here again because they do have vegan options and they are a bit scarce around town. The menu could be more clear of what can be made vegan (or what they have for substitutions) with pricing listed.

We highly recommend the Ahi and Brisket Philly sandwiches. For a refreshing drink, add the Matcha Latte.
