Was Ok. Lots of sides, very less meat. The sweet potato fries were not cooked properly. Mac n cheese was great. Applesauce lifted everything up.

This was my first time visiting this place. I was very happy with the food. The flavors and tenderness were amazing. The service towards us was good. However, I witnessed a party of 7 walk-in, and not one staff member greeted them for over 5 minutes. I understand they may have been waiting for tables to leave, but no communication with the group really upset me. I spent 15 years in the service industry a long time ago, but I do still hold high standards for places. That just didn't sit well with me. The least amount of effort would be to speak with the customers and let them know what the plan is. I did enjoy the food and will return, I just hope management steps up.

I ordered the st.louis rib combo with beef. My sides were Mac n cheese. And beans..
Beef and sides were good...almost cut my finger on the chipped plate..ribs tasted like they were 2 days old...I couldn't even peel the meat off the bone with a fork .. over heard staff arguing in the kitchen and cussing at eachother..but I guess they have a rib guarantee or something 🤔...

My family and I were vacationing through Colorado and stopped in Montrose for lunch. We walked past this place and decided to give it a try since my dad is on a meat only diet. This place is a true American style restaurant. Lots of meats and side options. I'm a fried okra fanatic so of course I had to give them a try and they were some of the best I've ever had! The meats were all very juicy and tender. I also decided to try their peach beer and it was delicious. Overall, great service, food and drinks - highly recommend to anyone looking for a meat spot while in Montrose!

This restaurant is average compared to the other barbecue type establishments in town. Their turkey is really good. They have a few barbecue sauces to choose from so that makes it nice, and lots of different sides

Easy to find, smells absolutely wonderful as soon as you walk in the door. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Prices were good for this type of place (BBQ is always more expensive and this was on the reasonable side)

Kids under 4 got a free chicken and fries which my little one loved.

Hubs got the chicken and pork plate which he said was good. Chicken was super tender, pulled pork was nice and tangy. The coleslaw was BOMB DIGGITY.
I got the brisket plate which was good. Brisket is always a little bit more on the dry side but was flavorful and tender.
Preteen kiddo got the Rib plate which he liked but wished there were more ribs.
We did not like the mac and cheese. It was a little bland, a little mushy, and every once in a while had crunchy bits in it.

We only tried their "sweet bbq sauce" which is like an original style sauce and we all enjoyed it.

Over all it was a good dinning experience. We would recommend.

The food was amazing we ordered two helpings of their meal for 2, it fed 8 people and yes we had left overs. The drinks were great, not strong, not weak, perfect. Our server was so sweet the staff sang happy birthday with us to our son. Good times, thank you, Rib City. We'll be back.

We used to love this place! We've been back on a few occasions now. When we walked in, the hostess took her time coming to seat us. No greeting, no smile...and the place was not busy. No fried green beans anymore. The ribs are not as good. Our fries were not even warm when they came to the table...cold and tough. We had asked for hot water for our 94 year old mother...than never came. So disappointed...again. We won't be back.
