Customer service above and beyond! They helped us find the candy I was looking for as well as saying they’d keep in stock for us and would try to get another candy I had asked about in stock! A must check out and support! Prices were super fair as well, I was expecting to pay more and was surprised by the lower costs.

The Purple Penguin is absolutely magical. It should easily be one of the 7 wonders of Tucson, it is 100% a hidden gem and in every sense of the word. It’s amazing.

Dino (the owner) is a fantastic owner and his knowledge of candy goes above and beyond what I would have imagined.

If you can’t find a treat in here then you don’t like treats. This place has EVERYTHING and that isn’t an exaggeration. Everything. Even Candy from before time itself to now and everything in between.

The candy emporium also has a TON of drinks to chose from… soooo many to choose from. Old drinks. New drinks.

I would honestly plan to be here for 15-30 mins. You might lose an hour… This place is for children and adults of all ages.

It’s open daily and you’re always greeted with a smile and a good time.

Prices are insanely low and I’ve found myself spending a lot of money and it’s 100% worth it.

Dino is always super helpful if your unsure about what to get and always recommends things based on your preferences and he’s great with kids old and young.

The gal that runs the place is very cool. She gets it, and she'll share your love for treats.
So stop by and fill up a sack of sweet memories that won't hit you so hard in the wallet it stings.

I was told they had a big selection of candy and it did not disappoint.. They had so much candy some i had never even seen... The gentlemen running the shop were very cool and knew a lot about all the candy he sells.. If your looking to be taken back to your younger self I would recommend this shop..

Sadly, the original owner no longer owns the Penguin due to health issues. It has a new owner, familiar with the store, but having a rough time getting products on order. She is working with the original owner, and we wish her the best.

Wonderful store with a friendly owner who has an obvious passion for bringing joy to children. His store is a treat for adults too, filled with knick knacks, antiques and collectors items that will bring back memories. Huge variety of candy and the owner knows the history behind it all. This stop made my kid's day.

Really enjoyed this place! We had passed by a few times and finally decided we'd stop in to check it out. It was awesome! The owner greets everyone that comes in and the kiddo got a spin for a free candy (that's how candy stores used to be as the owner had informed us) the owner knows his business and will explain the candies to you and the variety holy Jeez the variety! I got stuck at the taffy and got all kinds of flavors while the Missus and little one picked out several candies from the shelves. They have all kinds of sodas and drinks. This was a really great place to stop by and entertain the kids. It makes their day!
