The best breakfast I've had in a while. Super fresh and tasty. Super friendly staff, convenient location, street parking and parking lot in the back. Lots of really delicious stuff to choose from. And don't get me started on their pastries! It's an experience of it own. Great coffee. Non-dairy milk variety is available. Reasonable prices. Loved it!

New location of Poppy Cake Baking Company that just opened up in Arcadia. Location is further north, across the street from Grocery Outlet and Dollar Tree. If you've been to the Sierra Madre location, this new shop is much smaller - more like a to-go, grab and go shop to pick up some pastries, sandwiches, coffee, etc. before heading on your way.

Street parking along Sierra Madre or Wigwam Ave. I stopped by right when it opened and there was a ton of pastries in the display case as well as some pre-made salads in the fridge. I was hoping to pick up a sandwich, but they hadn't yet made any.

I was able to get my hands on their popular morning bun ($3.50). If you like cinnamon, you'll love their morning buns! Even through the wrapping, the scent of cinnamon was mouth-watering. The bun was pretty much doused in cinnamon - I've only eaten a few bites, but that soft bread with the sweet cinnamon makes eating the bun super addicting.

Also wasn't able to resist getting a peanut butter cookie ($2.50). Unfortunately the cookie wasn't as soft/chewy in the middle as I would have liked. Cookie was quite big, and it looks like it's baked from scratch. It was more on the brittle and crunchy side, which some people prefer! Taste wise was good - definitely enjoyed the peanut taste and freshness of the ingredients.

Not sure if they'll be having the same menu as Sierra Madre (breads, sandwiches, food made to order), but definitely a good bakery to check out if you are interested in breads, pastries, etc.

tl;dr - highly recommend the morning bun from Poppy Rose!

Great little extension of the bakery in Sierra Madre. A bit more limited selection but they have an espresso machine! Great grab and go lunch. I have tried just about all of their sandwiches and salads and they are all fantastic! Staff is also super friendly and helpful.

I recently gave it a tried in the morning ordering a iced americano and a cheese Danish like around 830 am, let me tell you that I loved my cheese danish!!! It was the best!! And mt order was on time !! Will be going back to try the rest of the pastries

Favorite little bakery ever! They have the best banana nut muffins and Jacqueline is the kindest woman I've ever met. Prices are wonderful, my family has switched from donut days at the local donut shop to Poppycake days instead since trying their pastries. You won't be disappointed 😌

Amazing spot for coffee ! First thing i tried ! And it was quality !Friendly service and glad its a close by to me . A cold fridge full of delicious goods like fresh tuna salad and deviled eggs where among the fee that caught my eye. edit to this post soon for a review on their baked goods

Wonderful little shop. I recommend the lemon rosemary boule. The staff was very polite and helpful.
