We stopped in for lunch. I ordered the soft Super Taco, which was actually pretty good. The wife got the crispy taco but it had shredded beef that was overcooked and tough. The refried beans were really good. The service, although super friendly, was pretty slow. The best thing about it was that is is right on the Dolores river and it was nice sitting out on the patio. Their chips and salsa was also pretty good. All of the food portions were pretty generous.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Montezuma Mexican Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the meat lovers burrito with a side of green chili, and it was hands-down one of the best burritos I’ve had in the area. The green chili was an excellent addition, adding just the right amount of spice.

Upon arrival, the layout was a bit confusing since the main building is split into two sections—a bar and the main restaurant—and we accidentally entered through the bar. However, once we were settled, the wait staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel welcomed.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also quite enjoyable. We opted to sit on their back patio, which offers a fantastic view overlooking the Dolores River. It made for a peaceful and scenic dining experience, adding to the overall charm of the place.

In terms of cleanliness, everything seemed very well maintained, including the outdoor seating area. The restaurant has a great balance between quality and value, with reasonable prices for generous portions. The wait for our food wasn’t long, and though it took a little time, it wasn’t excessive by any means.

If you’re in the area, I highly recommend trying the meat lovers burrito. Overall, there wasn’t anything I’d say could be improved—it was a great meal in a fantastic location!

Great place for Mexican food! Large outdoor seating spaces along the Dolores river. Food was great and came out hot! Dishes are definitely shareworthy. Excellent service! Wait staff was super friendly and checked in often to make sure we were enjoying everything or to see if we needed anything. We'll be back!
