一間韓國人開的日式咖啡店，感覺上是個非常文青網美的設計。如果是想要一個氣氛的話可以來，如果是想要認真喝咖啡的話，不推薦。
喝了幾款他們的單品手沖，多數的風味跟豆子該有的味道真的都差滿多的。例如不論是水洗或日曬的豆子一樣都有強烈的發酵味、淺培與中淺培不管什麼培度都沒有差。簡單來說，豆子喝起來都差不多。
所以也因此可以發現多數人來這邊喝的都是抹茶拿鐵，而不是咖啡。滿有趣的現象。抹茶拿鐵的部分其實就是接受度很高的輕鬆飲料，也沒有特別強調抹茶本身的味道，或是與牛奶的融合感。個人是覺得沒特色。

This place really draws in a crowd. The place is small. The line was already reaching the door when we got there. Expect to wait for your nectar of the gods because it will take a good minute to reach the front to order. Still worth the wait IMO. The coffee is really delicious and strong. A real "wake me up" if you need it. The ham and cheese croissant was a sad. The little rolled up slice of ham in the middle just made us laugh. The spinach and cheese croissant was not disappointing. Very friendly staff and cool first time experience. Definitely coming back for some coffee ☕

Really hyped coffee shop in Los Angeles. I was excited to try one of the most popular coffee places and went in with high expectations. It was a long line on a Saturday afternoon. The line was continuously long the rest of the day.

I had their cream top matcha latte and it fell really short of my expectations. It was tasted really watery which was disappointing considering it had a nice green color. The cream top was really good though

There is a decent size seating area but it gets crowded and the turnover isnt great since people are here to study.

A small but hip and delicious coffee spot in the Arts District just east of DTLA. There are multiple locations around the city, but this was my first time trying this location. It was quite crowded when we arrived around 11AM on Saturday, but the line moves pretty fast. Inside has a lot of tables and had a lot of people sitting working on computers and reading books and had a great coffee shop vibe. They don’t have a parking lot, but free street parking is easy to find in this part of town. The barista at the counter was very polite and also gave some good recommendations.

The menu is fairly small with limited options, especially flavor options, but everything that we ordered was very good. For this visit I ordered a Vanilla Bean Latte and really enjoyed it. I wish they would have larger sizes available because I drank it very fast and enjoyed every sip. I also got a shot of espresso on the side and that was a great pick me up for my midday. I would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a great coffee shop and I will be back next time I’m in the area.

This might sound like I'm exaggerating but I'm really not. The latte I had here is the best I've ever had. It's really just that good.

I visited with my cousin who is a coffee connoisseur, to say the least. He insisted on bringing me here versus any other place in the Los Angeles area because he was similarly impressed during his first visit.

The staff were very friendly and although the place can be too busy for its size, it does have a cool artistic style that people seem to like for taking Instagram photos. Just be warned that the surrounding area is riddled with crime and degradation so you'll definitely want to get in and out without spending too much time.

I’ve been coming to this Maru for years, even before they started roasting in-house, so I’m finally giving the review they deserve. The first thing that strikes you is that even when the place is packed (which it often is), there’s a bright tranquility to the space; usually including good music and an air of creative energy from people working and collaborating while sipping their cream tops. I became a cult follower of their almond milk matcha latte, but their core competency lies truly in their phenomenal espresso. If you brew at home, you can’t leave without a bag of their beans. Overall, this coffee sanctuary has been and will continue to be one of my must-visits every time I’m back in LA.
