I love Manna Bakery. Yesterday I bought 2 ready-made meals and a Cherry Turnover. The cherry turnover was one of the best I've had.
I would like to give feedback on the prepared meal entitled Beef Stroganoff. I was expecting a dish with a mushroom based gravy, mushrooms, and beef or chuck roast with egg noodles or something similar.
What I actually got was something more like Goulash or Hamburger casserole. It wasn't a bad dish, it just didn't fit the name. It was noodles, a red sauce, ground beef and a heavy dose of cream cheese or sour cream.
I think when you label the meals, you might want to include the ingredients. I'm not sure if this dish was mislabeled or just a version of Stroganoff that I had never had.
Again, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

This bakery is great, old school, not a chain, a real business! I had a croissant and it was delightful!!! I'm going to get a pie next time, the pies look awesome! The Baker was super nice!

Yum! Visited this bakery yesterday (Monday) around early afternoon. They weren’t busy, but had a consistent flow of customers. The display case is large and showed off all of their baked goods ranging from cupcakes, bars, eclairs, turnovers, etc. They even have a deli with a wide selection. I purchased the strawberry cupcake, along with an iced sugar cookie, and a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie.

The cupcake was delicious; moist crumb with a sweet and fluffy frosting (not too sweet).

The cookie is thick, with a smooth coating of icing. It crumbles perfectly when you take a bite.

And the pie is amazing! Crust is tender and buttery, it flaked nicely. Filling is sweet and tangy (again, not too sweet!).

The service was great, and I didn’t feel rushed into making a selection. I’d go back the next time I am in the area.

We visit Manna often and love getting a variety of the baked goods, especially the mini loaves of bread! The quiches are also amazing and do well storing in the freezer for a later date.

My favorite spot for all my pastry needs! Turnovers are my personal favorite, but the cinnamon rolls are delicious too. My goal is now to gradually work my way through as many menu items as I can!

What amazing service and a wonderful cake! I called with a tall order- I wanted a cake to find the gender of my baby but I wanted it that day, with one hour until closing. Not only did they make that work, but I got a beautiful and truly delicious cake. I am so appreciative of the love that was put into this cake and the understanding of the quick turnaround so we could find out the gender that day! Thank you to Eve and the team at Manna bakery! We will be back 🙂

I love supporting local businesses as I own one, so when I'm looking for a place to eat I want to try the local fare. While in this neighborhood, I found this family owned bakery and deli! Two of my favorite things - sandwiches and baked goods! Their bread is baked in house and is also sold in loaves. I had the tuna sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, purple onions, and banana pepper. As you can see, it was a worthy dagwood and was as delicious as it looks.

The choices for baked goods are many. They have everything from cookies and cakes to turnovers and pies. Yum. I got two peanut butter cookies and two ginger snap, one of my favs that are hard to find. They didn't disappoint. The ginger cookies are some of the best, if not the best, I've ever had; large, thick, meaty, and chewy. So good.

Ironically, though ordinary, this is an old fashioned, down to earth, simple but quality, refreshing change from the ordinary, if that makes sense.
