Fabulous meal from start to finish! My only regret is that we ate too fast to take good pictures 😋

The chicken liver mousse with fig preserves was excellent, as was the simple mesclun salad. The star of the meal was the steak (with peppercorns… oh my stars!), with the perfect accompaniments of mashed potatoes and green beans. Perfectly executed and exactly what one should expect at a traditional French bistro!!

Dessert was equally wonderful. A local fig tart, as well as chocolate mousse that was heavenly. Of course, we had to pick up some goodies from the deli to take home, too.

I cannot say enough about this place. Service was great, food even better. It is a hidden gem, and we are lucky to have Maud and Marc-Henri here! This place puts actual restaurants in France to shame… I can say that because we were just in France for most of this summer. 😂 Can’t wait to come back.

Then the dude asked.."In one word how would you describe your sandwich" Well, I couldn't decide between Amazing, Spectacular or just plain WOW! I've never had a better ham sandwich...ever!

A slice of Paris in Windsor!! They now offer a full dinner menu and it is magnificent! We tried the fish of the day and the chicken, both had amazing sauces. We also split the potatoes in puff pastry and OMG! Rich and heavenly. We also had a fig tart, which was creative, beautiful, and delicious. Mark, the chef, Combined raspberries hazelnuts and fig for a not overly sweet tart. I’m still craving it. Out three wines (Burgundy, Rhone and Southern French Rose) paired well. The ambience is las if you were sitting in a French country house with a welcoming and warm, hostess and relaxed.atmosphere.

Absolutely must try this bistro!!!

This place is amazing. I went with my friend who recommended it, and I can’t believe I had never been to this hidden gem. It’s a really cute and cozy place owned by a wonderful French family and I have a really delicious menu of super fresh and local ingredients. I really enjoyed everything we got especially the carrot soup and the pate. Have a great selection and the service was great. It feels like you’re hanging out at someone’s house in their kitchen, but it has a very refined flair as well. I highly recommend this place!

How can I say…….I was impressed with this restaurant. I really love it
Small/medium size very nice decor, confortable, and excellent service with one of the owners , Maud, I feel like I’m in a friend house, no in a restaurant
We have a different selection of pate , served with Dijon mustard, bread and Cornichon , OMG , home made, delicious
French style ham, house signature, also home made
Potato tart, layered thin sliced potatoes, crème fraiche and more , wrapped in a delicious buttery dough
Chocolate mousse, yes home made❤️😋
House recommended local Pinot Noir , excellent
Also they offering for sale a selection French and local wine, their own home made charcuterie and others products.
I tell you I will travel from San Jose to Windsor just to try more dishes
My compliments to chef Mar-Henri your cooking skills, experience and love are showing in your plates
MERCI BEAUCOUP
(Sorry for the food photos I was so exited to try the food that I forgot to take the pictures when the dish arrived to the table)

Our group of six ladies had a delightful lunch. Housemade charcuterie was delicious, especially the duck with orange. Cornichons were the perfect pairing. Thoughtful wine selection. Everyone was impressed with the light, airy texture of the quiche. We shared lovely chocolate mousse and lemon tart for dessert. Enthusiastic, informative service. We will return!

Enter from the bland strip mall and let yourself be transported to France. This would be your favorite neighborhood restaurant where you would be warmly greeted and enjoy delicious food.

The menu is approachable, authentic and fairly priced. The ambiance is relaxed and informal. I had the Salade Lyonnaise, which was both fresh and slightly decadent, with bites of thick cut bacon and a coddled egg yolk in the center. My mother enjoyed a generous slice of Quiche Lorraine, very light textured with béchamel in a buttery crust.

Une vraie trouvaille!
