Maison Alyzee has the best pastries on the peninsula! I love going every weekend for my weekly treat, and I enjoy their pastries with a nice flat white.

We were excited to try this new French cafe. But was totally disappointed!

Ordered 2 pastries and 1 cafe latte came out to $30 without tip! That is crazy especially for Burlingame! It’s not PA, Atherton or Menlo Park. So they can go kick rocks with their crazy prices!

We will NOT return.

Maison Alyzee proves again the BEST Croissant in Burlingame is found in their fine French cafe.

Ordered the plain Croissant warmed up, with a splash of honey on the side. Texture , flavor , layeri, and appearance are excellent.

Also ordered a plain Latte. Their Latte was excellent too.

For other points of the business the visit was as good as before. Excellent service. Bright, clean, neat, and pleasant atmosphere. Easy payment. And of course easy access from a nearly corner location on the avenue. With parking close by in many directions.

Will I be back in the future? YES!

My favourite local cafe. They serve good coffee. We even buy their specialty coffee beans for our home. Their baguette and bread loafs are great, but they run out quickly. I love their French hot chocolate. Its very rich, so I add extra hot water to it. They also have a good tea selection.

The staffs were friendly and the environment is spacious. They are definitely pricey but the pastries are all unique. You can buy anything and it would be good.

When entering here, it has a very inviting kind of vibe. It's bright, clean, and so organized. The pastries look so pretty. It looks like it's just a display, and you don't want to eat it.
We were greeted right away, but customer service slowly went downhill from there. They got our items together, and I paid. Not even 2 minutes later, "They were like we forgot to charge you for this." I paid again. Only to find out when we got home, we were missing our macarons. I called, and they were like we have it here at the counter." I asked for a refund since we weren't going all the way back there. The lady tells me, "I'm not sure if we can." Of course, by this time, I was annoyed. I waited patiently to make sure I got my money back.
Aside from the experience, their pastries are amazing.

1. Caramelia choux - This was delicious and had something crunchy inside. I didn't care for the buttercream on top. The different layers complemented each other.

2. Matcha raspberry - If you love matcha, this was amazing, and the raspberry paired perfectly. I had tried this first and did not share.

3. Signature chocolate tart - smooth, and I loved the crunchiness from the hazlenut praline.

4. Harmony - This looked so delicate to eat but delicious l.

5. Vanilla flan - This had like a creme brulee topping. So scrumptious.

Everything I tried was amazing and good to the last bite. I did not share my pastries. Everyone had their own because it was that good. Prices are a little up there but definitely worth it when it's an occasional treat.. this time around, it was my birthday.

This bakery has a delightful selection of croissants and other pastries, all made fresh and true to French tradition. Unlike overly sweet American pastries, their pastries are perfectly balanced.

I recently tried their pistachio cake and raisin roll, and both were great. The cake was light and airy, with a subtle pistachio flavor, and the raisin roll was bursting with juicy raisins.

They have a lovely outdoor seating area, perfect for sunny days, and a comfortable indoor space ideal for a relaxed coffee break. Speaking of coffee, theirs is fantastic! It complements the pastries beautifully.

Staff was patient and helpful. Lots of viennoiserie, cake, and pastry options. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. They have ceramic cups and plates for indoor dining.

We got the triple chocolate croissant ($7) and a pistachio cake (called 100% pistachio; $12). They were both sizeable and good looking.

The croissant was tastefully chocolatey and surprisingly not too sweet, allowing us to eat it all in one sitting without coffee or tea. The cake had 4 different components that utilized pistachio. Each component had different textures, intensity, and sweetness. The pistachio chantilly cream was my favorite followed by the pistachio cake base.
