Delicious breakfast sandwiches and sweets in an impeccably designed space! Staff are friendly and there's always seating in the back bench if the tables are full. I love the beautiful color accents and sharp black-and-white wallpaper. If you're craving a giant skillet Iwould go elsewhere, but the french toast casserole and Benedict sandwich were excellent! The biscuit is well made but not particularly special.

Such an adorable place to get breakfast! It’s small so not accommodating for larger parties but still so cute! There is indoor and outdoor dining and they have a large selection of coffees and teas. Breakfast was fast and so delicious! My husband ordered the “Benny on a Bun” and I ordered the English muffin with their house homemade jam with a fruit cup. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. They seemed very happy to be working there and that makes a huge difference in service. Keep up the great work! Will return!

This was my first visit and I will be back again. All the staff are friendly, efficient, and are attentive. The food is first class, hot with a nice selection.

Because it is so good, it is busy and seating is limited, so be prepared to wait for a seat.

I think Lucille is a downtown Modesto gem. I wish them great success and a prosperous new year.

Great food and even greater people! The shop itself is very cute, but just because of how busy it is, it's hard to find a seat(just goes to show how tasty everything is). Highly recommend, but be prepared to bump some elbows.

The cutest little cafe next to the courthouse! I dropped by when I was in town for jury duty and was impressed by the cute decor, kind staff, and expansive menu. It reminds me of the cafes in my SF neighborhood - plenty of people chatting / reading / working on laptops. I sat and read for an hour during my lunch break. 10/10 would return 🙂 Thank you for making my jury duty day 100% less of a drag!!

Most attentive and kind staff!! Also the food was unbelievable. This place deserves 6/5 stars ⭐️. Most memorable part of our Modesto trip! They ran out of biscuits (I understand why, they look amazing), but I replaced it with their sourdough toast and it was shocked with the quality. We absolutely would drive from San Jose just for Lucille.

Cute little breakfast/brunch place. Staff has been very knowledgeable of how to make things vegan friendly. Very helpful and do the best they can with the space they have. Food tastes fresh. Breakfast portions are a bit smaller than lunch menu items. Can take some time to get a seat, but it's worth it.
