Very interesting. This was my first visit to Licks. From the highway, it was hardly visible. We missed it and drove past. The shop is located between two buildings.

The servers seemed very invested in giving quality service.

There were options for specialty flavors of homemade ice cream, as well as the standard vanilla and chocolate. Besides a variety of toppings to choose from, a fresh, soft, bubble waffle could be selected to go with your ice cream.

It seemed a bit pricey, but the results were satisfactory.

Indoor and outdoor seating was available. The outdoor area was covered by shade sails.

There seemed to be a steady flow of customers with usually a brief wait. It was a friendly casual atmosphere.

The parking area was dimly lit. There also appeared to be well lit parking in the rear of the building.

We plan to return. Carlota's Authentic Mexican Restaurant is across the highway from this Licks location. Licks would be a great place to get dessert after a Mexican dinner.

Fantastic ice cream, and small business all around! The Cannoli cone is my absolute favorite, but you can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. They even have select flavors that are switched out weekly, so there’s always a great variety of ice cream, along with certain flavors/mixtures that are available all of the time.

Licks is awesome! Tasty ice cream, lots of flavors, friendly staff, family friendly and great prices. Perfect spot for a sweet treat. Five stars!

This charming and clean place is tucked out of the way, easy to miss. The ice cream flavors change daily. Delicious ice cream and a nice, full sized espresso machine. Comfortable seating, both inside and out. It's worth the drive.

would give the service a 14/5 if i could. AMAAAAAAAZING service. the grad cards on the fridge were a nice interior design choice and gave the arena a lovely homely atmosphere. very nice workers.
no salt and vinegar chips. 🙁
i was a big fan of the AC (b) because the restaurant was cold and ice cream is cold which made it feel more like ice cream my book club will be coming here soon the pink tile was very reminiscent of my time on the camino de santiago because of the seashell pattern

I've been wanting to stop here for weeks! The trip around Tucson did not disappoint!
It's a very cute atmosphere with lots of outside seating.
The ice cream has a fantastic texture! It's creamy, icy, and flavorful!
They have VEGAN options! We have a kiddo with allergies, and it was such a treat to get him a treat!!
I'd go again!

We stumbled upon Licks Ice Cream & Coffee after a friendly business owner recommended it to us. As we made our way through the charming courtyard, we discovered a happy place that immediately caught our attention. My husband and I indulged in two scoops of their rich and creamy ice cream, served on a crispy waffle cone. The flavors were absolutely delicious, and we couldn't help but feel uplifted by the cheerful and polite service staff. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, offering a perfect break from the scorching Tucson heat. Overall, Licks Ice Cream & Coffee left us with a memorable and delightful experience that we can't wait to relive.
