Huge thank you to the owner for accommodating a last minute large order for an office birthday party. Food was delicious and everyone was very full. We will make sure to order the party subs next time!

Kona’s is the absolute best!! Every time me and my boyfriend come here, we feel so welcomed. The owner (I believe?) is incredibly kind and makes you feel at home. The food is also delicious, hands down the best sandwich shop in Chico. They also have different soups that are equally as tasty.

My new FAVORITE lunch spot in town! Kona’s on Nord checked all the boxes; from the food (of course!) to being VERY family friendly! My 10 year old loved it; to the staff. Mr. David, Mr. Tyler (Sami Master, 🙏), & Mr. Chris. They greet you by name and almost psychically anticipate what you’re in the mood for. They are usually spot on! They’ll have you taste test the meat/soup of the day. Freshly made. Great food, great value, great service; the restaurant is always spotless, great music in the background. Just an all-around great spot. I recommend it to everybody in Chico! See you guys soon!

David W is the business owner and he’s trying to brush my complaint under the rug. I assure you, all of this happened. That’s why I’ll never go back. We got the sandwich special….

The worker behind the counter was laughing and joking about how my girlfriend and I should be taking Ozempic. We are pretty big people. It wouldn’t have been that big of a deal if the sandwich didn’t suck either. It was so dry and flavorless. It felt like meat and bread. It wasn’t worth being fat shamed.

They have the best home made soups, smoked meats are wonderful. I had the smoked tri tip with habonero BBQ sauce! Fantastic! Thank you for a great lunch & service! 5 Stars!

This is a great sandwich shop. They smoke their own meat and all the sandwich ingredients are fresh and tasty. Super friendly staff.
