They always have what I need but they've taken all the fun out of grocery shopping. They've closed off gaps in produce so you can no longer skip what you don't need and cut through to the back. There are never enough check out lines open as they force people to self-checkout. I didn't train to be in cashier and have no desire to learn. I'd like to see a smiling face when I check out rather than see my own face on the security camera at the self checkout. Why the security camera? If you don't trust me to check my own groceries then don't make me do it. Staff is generally helpful and friendly!

This store is always inconveniently out of Whatever one item I need. It's like they just know what I need and decide not to have it so I have to go to another store. One time it was Corn Flakes for a recipe I was making. They didn't even have a generic version available. The most recent one today was unflavored gelatin. I need it for a chiffon pie I'm planning for Thanksgiving. Not only did they not have it , but I was told they don't even carry it. Everything is always overpriced here as well. I'm just about done shopping here forever. Also the lady who posted the 5 star review because she thought she found real crab leg meat for $10. Please leave an update, I'm dying to know how your imitation Krab legs were.

The service desk person is robotic and one young manager is so in to himself. He was talking on and on to his buds while we all needed help at the self checkout. They don’t care because they are making so much money. It is what it is.

Great store. There are two areas of self check out, one at either end of the assisted check out area. This is a bigger King Soopers with more selections (not the new mini-Walmart size though). Lots of parking.

The self check out is awful. It's so finicky about needing a worker to check for every little thing (you hovered your hand in the bagging area, you got x number of items, you are ready to pay, you took more than 2 seconds to get your item in the bagging area.) The top down videos they require to be checked feel a little awkward, especially on days you wear something lower than neck level. I'm guessing they have stealing issues, but if trust is that bad that they have people doing instant replays on you, maybe they need less self check out and more cashiers. I finally had an instance where I made it the whole check out with no issues and then when I was ready to pay it was like "hold up, someone needs to watch the last 5 seconds, you checked out flawlessly and that's suspicious too." And I normally like self checkout, just not at king soopers. I only go here when I need something sprouts and target don't carry.
