This is a cute little ice cream shop in Downtown Loveland. Close to many shops and restaurants and convenient for a quick treat! Staff was super friendly and helpful! Their White Christmas ice cream is wonderful!! Get it before it's gone!

Hands down the best ice cream in Colorado. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. While I've tried many of the delicious flavors, Purple Mountain Majesty is my go-to! There's a good amount of seating indoors as well as outdoors for when we bring our pup. Seriously, just writing and thinking about Josh and Johns makes me want to go get ice cream right now!

Wow what a tasty treat!! A patio with shade, tons of flavor options, house made waffle cones, sugar cones, cups, gorgeous looking ice cream cakes in the case ready to take home, plenty of pre-made pints ready to go too. The poor gal was working solo when we went in and she was slammed but was so friendly and welcoming to every single new family she helped. Very well done. It was a Monday evening and there were quite a few people but the line moved quickly enough. They do have a single restroom, multiple dairy free options. And perfect kids toppings. After we ate we had to really hold ourselves back from going in for a pint to take home. Delightful ice cream, we'll be back, a lot. Sorry, we absolutely could not get pictures before we started eating. The rainbow sprinkles were a big hit. So clever, they had this little sundae bar so you can buy everything you need right there! Love that idea.

Great Service, Unique Approach to Ice Cream

I recently visited Josh and John ice cream, and I must say, the experience was quite unique. While there were a couple of unusual aspects, overall, it was a delightful visit.

Let's start with the positives. The service at Josh and John was exceptional. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and eager to assist. They were knowledgeable about their products and happily answered all my questions. Their genuine enthusiasm for ice cream was infectious and added to the overall enjoyable atmosphere.

Now, on to the intriguing parts. When I stepped into the shop, I was surprised not to see any visible ice cream flavors. It's not something I'm used to when visiting an ice cream parlor, and it initially caught me off guard. However, the staff quickly stepped in and guided me through the selection process. They described each flavor with vivid detail, allowing me to make an informed decision. While it was an unconventional approach, I appreciated their efforts to ensure I had a satisfying experience.

Another distinctive feature was their practice of weighing the ice cream cups. It was evident that they took great care to ensure each serving matched the precise weight indicated on the cup. While I understand this attention to detail for consistency, I have never encountered this method at an ice cream shop before. It added a touch of precision to the experience, although it did feel a bit unusual.

Now, let's talk about the ice cream itself. The flavors I sampled were truly delicious. The textures were smooth and creamy, and the taste was rich and flavorful. From classic favorites to unique creations, Josh and John's ice cream selection impressed me. I particularly enjoyed the balanced sweetness and the quality of the ingredients used. Despite not being able to visually see the flavors beforehand, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality.

In summary, my visit to Josh and John ice cream was a positive one. The exceptional service, combined with the delicious flavors, made for a memorable experience. However, the unconventional practice of not displaying the flavors and weighing the cups might be a minor drawback for some. Nonetheless, if you're willing to step out of the traditional ice cream parlor experience and try something different, Josh and John is definitely worth a visit.

Great Ice cream! Fresh homemade sauces too. It’s super delicious, but very expensive. The price is the only reason I give it four stars. If you don’t mind spending some money it is very delicious.

My sister-in-law is visiting from New York and out of nowhere says “I’d love some ice cream.” It’s December and it’s not even noon. I knew right where to take her - Josh & John’s. I had the Mazel Toff and she had the Choc Chip Mint, both in cones of course. The ice cream was delicious, Tara was friendly and fun and super sweet. Who says ice cream is for dessert?! Best decision. We even bought some pints of their specialty flavors to bring home for later.

I normally limit my carbs and don't eat sugar, I made an exception for this place and it did not disappoint,🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 The whole family enjoyed every bit of our experience. Excellent atmosphere, fabulous recipes, and absolutely wonderful staff! Know this place exists is dangerous, in the best way possible! 🍨🥰
