On a quest for locally-owned ice cream, we discovered Howdy on a Friday afternoon. Easy to find, with tempting outdoor seating (if only the weather was warmer!).

Bottom line—this place is incredible. Every detail, from the cute cone logo and branding to the service and their mission, is thoughtfully planned. The peanut butter chocolate ice cream? Easily some of the best I’ve ever had, if not the best.

Despite living 25 minutes away, we’ll be making the trip as often as possible.

Tonight I had my wheel spin for 10 visits. Free milkshake! Love this place. Love the ice cream. Love the service. Love the concept. Dr. Pepper ice cream! Home made ice cream cones in multiple flavors. How can you go wrong?

This place is great! The atmosphere is very cute, love the decor. The service was wonderful, everyone was helpful and kind. The ice cream exceeded my expectations and there was a wide range of unique flavors. I would recommend this place for families, date night, and just to stop in for some ice-cream.

Found a new ice cream spot! I'm loving their mission statement, warms my heart! I had the Dr. Pepper chocolate chip ice cream and it was good in a freshly made warm waffle bowl. The owner was there and told us about the establishment and the customer service was top notch. Very cute, colorful, and clean ice cream shop.

We are from Texas and wanted something good. I would 10000% recommend this place. The ice cream was delicious, but the BEST part was this place hires people with special needs. The staff was hospitable and very sweet. God bless this business.

This was a amazing find. I saw a news article that said they needed more business. Being that this was about a 20 minute drive I wasn't sure. I'm extremely glad I came. The cinnamon roll ice cream was amazing and so was every flavor I sampled. The prices are very affordable with large servings. The customer service was great and ryan was very nice.

I understand the high ratings. Just had a beautiful experience at Howdy served by Kaylie and Nina. Service was top notch and ice cream delicious (plenty of flavors to choose from). They were patient, accommodating and made recommendations to meet my needs. This was my first time and I will definitely be back!
