We love the Guittard Akoma chocolates, but it is difficult to find that specific flavor where we are. So we ordered some directly from the Guittard website. There was an issue due to the shipping with our order, but customer service was great and took care of the problem immediately. Big thumbs up. We'll definitely be ordering from the website more in the future.

Guittard Chocolate is one of the best courverture chocolate for making chocolates, baked goods and cookies. It's quality is always top-tier. They are a lot of varieties of flavors to choose from based on the recipe you are targeting for. It is available for all professionals, chocolatiers, patisseries, bakeries and at home is also available too. So I am glad Guittard still continues their traditional methods making great courverture chocolate for all of us. It is very accessible to everyone!

I placed an online order for will call in Burlingame recently as I was on a baking kick due to the covid-19 shelters in place. I purchased a variety of baking chips, chocolate wafers and cocoa powder. The order was ready within a couple of days. The receptionist at the front office was super friendly and had my order ready. She even gave me a couple of the old fashioned recipe booklets which I greatly appreciate.

Guittard is a family owned business in the San Francisco area since the 1800's. I will be back to restock on chocolate ingredients for baking more goodies to share with family and friends.

They may not do tours but just driving by for the smell outside the building is definitely worth the trek. I hope that they will do tours again someday. By far my favorite chocolate to bake (Super Cookie Chocolate Chip are the best).... And to snack on, of course. Love what you do!

I am from the Midwest and while you can find it in stores, it's tough to find all of their varieties compared to places on the west coast. If you are out here, find a local store that carries their chocolate and stock up!

I introduced to the Guittard Chocolate when I was working for the chocolate Factory I was using it for all my candy recipes.
INCLUDING THE VEGAN CHOCOLATE ONES. Since I left, I crave the cocoa everyday. SO, I use the cocoa powder on my Mocha everyday. There is no other chocolate in the world like the Guittard chocolate. THANK YOU GUITTARD FAMILY.

Did a walk through of the company and gotten to see how and where they made their chocolate bars. The employees who are in charge of the machines were very sweet and welcoming to both me and my daughter. Not to mention that I was very excited to see where my husband worked and the reason why he always comes home smelling like a candy bar

Guittard chocolate is the best. Just be aware they no longer do tours at their location as a previous review had mentioned. We found out after dropping by, though It is my favorite chocolate hands down.
