Visiting the Gold Hill Store and Pub in Boulder, Colorado, was a charming experience. The drive from Parker through scenic hillside routes, reaching an elevation of 8,900 feet, was breathtaking. The store itself, built in 1878, stands as a testament to time, with its rustic wooden charm. Sipping a cup of chai while seated at a table made from a tree trunk added a cozy, unique touch. I still couldn’t believe that a wooden building lasting more than a 150 years.

The small town’s beautiful architecture and quiet charm make it feel like stepping back in time. A hidden gem nestled in the hills, perfect for those seeking tranquility and history. I saw a lot of people cycling in this place.

We cycled the epic Gold Hill route and this is a must stop to enjoy a quick bite. We tried the famous grilled cheese sandwich (added ham) and it was perfectly done! Staff were so friendly and there’s just a relaxed ambience. I would definitely recommend this iconic place

The building is super old. It has been there for more than 150 years. They have had so many bands played there. Great vibe. The food is also good. We had a 6 course dinner. But the pub is very loud, it is hard to hear each other during dinner.

I absolutely love this place! For me it’s like stepping back in time when every rural community had its own “country” store. Growing up, I always loved those places and the Gold Hill Store is one of the last.

It’s the real deal! You can’t just conjure up this kind of vibe. It’s more nostalgic than your favorite Norman Rockwell painting and more authentic than that pair of Levis 501s you’ve had since the 80s. I love to sit by the wood stove and just soak it all in…it just makes me happy!

While you’re sitting by that wood stove reminiscing, have a slice of pie and a coffee! The food is just as incredible as the atmosphere. The apple pie and carrot cake, in particular, are both just next level!

The staff is friendly and always welcoming. Do yourself a favor and visit the Gold Hill Store. You’ll be glad you did!

Classic bicycle destination. Anyways a great stop because they have everything you could want. Delicious pizza, good pie, coffee and espresso, baked goods, kind staff! The new stage out back looks amazing! Get up there for live music on Fridays during the summer. There’s a bus from jungle in Boulder on Friday and Saturday summer nights! (Seats available on website)

A provision store that’s been around 1870s.
They have amazing coffee and pie….and the stiffest cocktail ever 😳 And so reasonably priced. The atmosphere is absolutely charming. The fireplace wasn’t on this time around. This is a must-go in Boulder . Oh, and they have strong WiFi!!
