I absolutely loved my stay with Freight! I stayed in the Frankie Cabin and it was a dream. So adorable! The bed was also extremely comfortable.

They had a nice selection of teas and coffees that made it extra cozy which was very nice since it was pretty cold outside during my stay.

The staff was very communicative and friendly during my stay. They also kept me up to date on the events happening in their event center. I attended a comedy show and a winter market during my stay and would highly recommend both!

I hear they’re dog friendly, as well. I wish I would have brought my pup. Guess I will just have to come back!

10/10 would stay again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a quick, affordable night to make our trip to a far ski resort easier, and our cabin was so adorable that I wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it! The bed was comfortable, the decor is modern, and the extra freebies and signage in the room (such as high altitude tips) really made this property stand out.

This was a last minute trip for my partner and I! It was the cutest little spot! The heated floors, TV, and the bed were all so comfortable! I would definitely return and come back! Very cozy and homey!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is really well thought out and we felt like the prices were reasonable. You can tell a lot of love went into this venture. They used high quality finishes throughout the units. They were extremely communicative to let us know they were there if we needed anything, but not overbearing to where it interrupts your stay. I love all the local information they provided to get us up and running with the area. There really weren't any bad things about our stay but if I was being extremely nit-picky and let me tell you this is a stretch. I would say the radio/record/tape player could go away. It is a cute idea but with how small the place is the novelty wears off and I would prefer a little extra space. That's all I can think of and it wouldn't be something that would change my experience either way.

Beautiful cabin with some of the most comfortable beds we have slept in! Check in and out was very easy, and it had everything we could need. They also included little high-elevation treats. I will definitely be staying here again when I am visiting Leadville.

We loved this place and hope to come back. We stayed in one of the smaller "Strumpet" cabins which was perfect for the two of us. The property is pretty new; the 13 cabins opened in 2020 and there is also a really cool event space which opened in 2017. The cabins resemble rustic miner's shacks on the outside in a nod to the history of Leadville, but on the inside are modern cabins with all the amenities. |Pros: stylish, comfortable, clean, creative design utilizing recycled materials from the old lumberyard on site, nice amenities like a kitchenette and even a record player/cassette deck, friendly & helpful staff|Cons: Our cabin was closest to the road so the sound of vehicles going over the train tracks was a little startling at first, but there wasn't much traffic at night so no big deal. The train track runs right outside the cabin but the tourist train only runs during the day so there is not going to be noise at night from that.

The check-in process was smooth and friendly. The cabin was very cozy and welcoming, while the location was awesome. Walking distance to the railroad and town, close to gas stations, restaurants, and grocery stores. Would absolutely stay again if we're back in Leadville.
