Took my MIL to Doug's for a nice breakfast and that's just what we got. The place is spotless and feels welcoming with a good number of team members hustling about with a positive air about them.

I ordered the Billy with a sausage patty and the first thing I noticed is that the biscuit itself is enormous. The gravy was clearly home-made and was quite good.

My wife ordered breakfast enchiladas and she enjoyed them for breakfast and, since the portion size was so big, lunch as well.

Overall they're fast, clean, the prices are fair and the food is really good. What's not to love? I will definitely go back. Our server was Ellie who did a great job.

Very good food over all! Pancakes were amazing. The biscuit was a bit strange though, didn’t have that crumbly biscuit texture, it was more like a cake and really sweet.

Our server was great, but it did take us quite a long time to be seated despite there being multiple open tables and no parties ahead of us.

Over all, I would return!

Stopped here for breakfast on our way to Wyoming! Wasn’t totally impressed, but it was decent. I started with a caramel latte, and it was very bitter…disappointing. My husband had regular coffee and an OJ…he loved the OJ! I then had scrambled eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy! It was super delicious with the exception of the biscuits…so dense..they were almost so hard you couldn’t eat them. The gravy was delicious though, as was the bacon, it had a nice flavor to it! My husband had a bacon and cheese omelet with hash browns, he thoroughly enjoyed it! I also tried the hash browns, they were even more delicious with some gravy on them😋 I’d probably eat here again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice!

I visited Doug’s Day Diner on a Friday morning around 8 AM and was greeted with a 20-minute wait for a table—or the option to self-seat at the counter. I chose the counter, which filled up completely within 30 minutes, leaving a crowd waiting by the door for seating.

The layout of the diner features a large counter seating area and a seemingly smaller, more spaced-out dining area. Service was prompt and friendly, which added to the overall positive experience.

I ordered the ham eggs Benedict, and while the thick-cut ham was excellent and the fresh-cut potatoes were a nice touch, the eggs were slightly overcooked for a Benedict. Despite this, the flavors were enjoyable, and the service was accommodating throughout my visit.

One downside was the cramped feeling once the counter became full, with elbow room being a bit tight among neighbors.

Overall, Doug’s Day Diner offers a pleasant breakfast experience with good flavors and attentive service, though it’s best to plan ahead for the busy morning crowd and consider table seating if elbow space is a priority.

Absolutely wonderful every time I'm in. This delightful breakfast spot is awesome. The food is delicious and served in heaping portions, the coffee is hot and bottomless, this place is a favorite of Lovelanders young and old, the perfect spot if you want a stick to your ribs meal served up by pros. I can't recommend this place enough, perfect.
