Great staff, awesome patrons, good internet, great booze specials and more. A decent pool table and foosball machine. Nice little stereo. The owner was chilling in a lounge chair last time I swung in. If you want to get to know the Loveland locals thus the place to get beer, shots and drinks all night long. They're open later than the other bars too!

I recently visited The Cove with a group of friends, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. One particular incident involving a miscommunication regarding identification, followed by an unprofessional encounter with the bouncer, left a lasting negative impression.

Upon arriving at The Cove after 1am, my friend unintentionally missed the question about presenting his identification. We understand that establishments have strict policies, especially regarding age verification, and we accept responsibility for the oversight. However, the manner in which the situation was handled could have been more professional and understanding.

Instead of calmly addressing the issue, the bar owner swiftly asked my friend to leave without offering an opportunity for clarification or discussion. This hasty action demonstrated a lack of care and consideration, which was disheartening for us as customers.

As patrons, we value respectful and courteous treatment, even when mistakes occur. It is crucial for businesses, particularly those in the service industry, to maintain a high standard of professionalism and handle difficult situations with tact and empathy. Unfortunately, this was not the case during our visit to The Cove.

Effective communication plays a vital role in ensuring a positive customer experience. It is important for staff members to convey policies clearly and allow room for understanding and clarification. In situations where miscommunications occur, a cooperative approach can help resolve issues amicably, fostering a more positive environment for all.

While incidents can happen, it is equally important for businesses to take responsibility and learn from them. I hope that The Cove will take this feedback constructively and make the necessary improvements in staff training and customer service to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Overall, my experience at The Cove was disappointing due to the miscommunication and unprofessional behavior displayed by the bar owner. As customers, we believe it is essential for businesses to prioritize professionalism, clear communication, and respectful treatment to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Love the laid back atmosphere! The service from the bartender was excellent. My only wish is that they had a good kitchen for food and beers on draft. Other than those two minor gripes, we'll be back!

The prices and selection in here are definitely accommodating and they're open super late for those night owls. A good crowd, and the bartenders know how to handle anything. They've got pool tables and your favorite drinks.

I would have given this place five stars except for I noticed that they don't cut anybody off. Some of the most drunk people you can see in Loveland will be at the cove. Definitely not knocking it everyone there seem to be having a great time even though it can be a little bit too crowded at times. Plus they have a pool table so not all bad LOL

Both times my husband and I went to The Cove it was empty (we were the only customers) so I thought it would be a safe place to take my mom, dad, mother-in-law and father-in-law during covid. And it was - empty. Unfortunately, the bartender was so rude that I was horrified and embarrassed. She seemed angry at US, as if we had done something wrong by coming in. I tried everything. I was overly polite, waited very patiently for her (the bartender) to serve us and tipped quit generously. None of that helped. We gulped our drinks and left as quickly as possible. My guests were upset with me for taking them there. I've only been to The Cove during the day and only encountered this particular bartender on one of three visits. You'll probably avoid a similar experience if you go at night. If not, you'll know immediately the bartender described here and won't waste your time hanging in such and uncomfortable environment.
