I would give this place a zero if I could. They don’t give any directions on where to stand in line. Who was the bimbo that came up with mixing Wetzel’s pretzels and cold stone to share a cash register? I was waiting in line and the cashier was like the line is to the side. And mind you there are no signs indicating where each customer should stand Of course the employees are useless too

This parlor is in the food court at the Brea Mall. It's conveniently next to the Wetzel Pretzels. The flavor scheme is only rivaled but the color scheme. My grandson wanted the Lucky Charms combo and he couldn't have been happier. The sever was polite and friendly and the mall finally put tables out again. When you're in the mood for something different and delicious come check it out 👍🏼

I wanted the order the ultimate cake batter with a cone the guy said, first he told me what size and I didn’t know what sizes they had then he told me they were over there and the fricken sizes didn’t even say the size on them then he told me to pick and I said what are the sizes and he finally told me, I chose medium as he was making it he told me that they didn’t have one of the topings and i said can I get Kit Kat and then he told me to choose one of them from the display and I told him where is the display and he said it should be right there I wanted Kit Kat but for some reason I guess he didn’t hear me or they didn’t have it so I chose crunch, when he was done and registers me up he gave it to me but it was in a cup and I told him I wanted a cone and I said can you maybe put it on top or something and he said no once it’s made we cant. I understand that they have guidelines rules but I fricken asked for a cone at the beginning. I told him it’s fine and payed with the gift card. The ultimate cake batter didn’t even taste like cake batter it tasted like chocolate. The guy seemed new and seemed like he hated his job and I was sad and got a messed ice cream order. Worst experience ever at this cold stone and it was only my second time at this location, Brea mall step up your game and maybe give every employee a microphone so I can hear them or train them to talk louder since it’s so fricken hard or hear.

Waited in line for about 5 mins before being helped. It was extremely packed, there was a full line for pretzels and about another 10ppl behind me for ice cream. While finally being served, the guy helping me didn’t know how to make our order. We ordered what was supposed to be a warmed cookie with cookie dough, vanilla ice cream, chocolate shavings and whipped cream; we got frozen cookies on a plate with vanilla ice cream and chocolate shavings. When I asked if it was supposed to be warmed he kind of just looked at me like I was speaking in a foreign language, then asked if I wanted him to throw it in the microwave. I asked for a warm cookie, so he took the plate back began to take the ice cream off.. which seemed like a difficult task to do so I just told the guy to just chop up the cookies and throw it in a cup. We already were waiting forever and there was a huge line it wasn’t worth the effort as the guy made it seem like he was completely confused on what to do and kepted looking up at the board on how to apparently throw it in a microwave. Upon ordering my last two items, there was another gentleman whom walked out in a black hoodie and began making ice cream. He called over to 3 kids waiting asking if what he was making was correct. They walked over not in line and told him their order. This kid made 3 ice creams and handed them out right in front of me and proceeded to tell the 3 kids to walk around back to meet him. They never paid for their ice creams and this kid grabbed his back pack and left. All while not only myself had been waiting for quit some time for my ice cream but there was a full line of about 10ppl, all of us PAYING customers. Even my 7yr old asked why those kid cut in line and then my 8yr old proceeded to mention that they didn’t even pay for their ice cream. Upon asking for the managers phone number (I asked for a manager originally he said there was no manger there) the guy helping me grabbed a young blonde haired girl. She asked what the issue was and I just told her I wanted the managers number. She again asked what the problem was. I just told her, I just was looking for the managers phone number. She asked what I needed. I proceeded again to ask if she had a number for theanher which she replied yes, and again asked what the issue was this time with an attitude. I sternly just said I just wanted the phone number and that was it, that was my question/issue all I wanted was the phone number for a manger. She repeated to ask me again about 3 more times each time getting an even bigger attitude before finally walking away only to come back minutes later hand me a piece of yellow sticky paper and immediately turn around and walk away from me as if I was being a hassle. Another worker had asked her what the issue was about and they proceeded to start talking about me before I even walked away like I was some big problem. We will never go to this location again.

Taking their sweet time to text and talk with their friends. The Asian guy who works here feel like everybody owes him money and having the stink face while making ice cream. But I mean if u love coldstone u still gotta swing through.

Only one person working on Sunday. Very slow. Only 5 groups infront of us, yet had to wait up to more than half hour just to get serve. I feel sorry for the only employee that works on Sunday.
