Cafe Daniel is the hottest coffee and brunch spot in Cap Hill! It goes without saying there are colorful drink options crafted to perfection. There are fresh snacks from across the countries finest regions including the Ohio River Valley and the Bluegrass state. If you’re visiting from out of town, this is a must-do activity while in Denver!

Honestly, the best cup of coffee I’ve had in the hood! What an off the beaten track gem Daniel is running, should be renamed Daniel’s house of vibes for all the vibe catching happening in there. Full service coffee bar with decaf and half caf options for those who can’t hang, as well as almond malk😛, heated and frothed for no extra charge; unheard of in the cafe world these days. Fully “green”, no-waste cafe which tickles the tree hugger inside me. Stroopwafel was on the crumbly side which made a slight mess and in turn caused me embarrassment in front of the owner. Overall incredible experience, highly recommend stopping in. Already set up to be a repeat customer.

Let me tell you, Cafe Daniel is truly an experience. The ambiance is meticulously designed to resemble an 80s hospital cafeteria, complete with sticky tables and fluorescent lighting that really brings out the natural paleness in everyone’s skin tone. Perfect for that “I just rolled out of to OR” aesthetic.

The staff—You have to respect their dedication to preserving the authenticity of a “self-service” atmosphere. Truly inspiring.

The coffee? It’s bold. In that “I forgot to clean the coffee machine” kind of way, which I’m still trying to figure out if this is the intention. Really, it’s a revolutionary new roast I feel gives “Cauterized Tissue with a Hints of Regret and Sadness” vibes.

In short, Cafe Daniel isn’t just a cafe; it’s a lifestyle. Whether you’re an Urban Outdoorsman or a Millennial Pop-Tart, this is the place for you. For anyone looking to embrace the thrill of lukewarm coffee, indifferent staff, and the subtle aroma of lost dreams and missed potential, this is your spot. Five stars, obviously.

I cannot overstate the bliss I experienced at Cafe Daniel. Their crêpes are artful and remind me of my younger days in Marseille. The foam of their cinammon cappucinos is like ingesting a cloud at dusk. Scarecly do I encounter such a careful selection of microlot beans from around the world; the most recent notes I experienced were scarcely tangerine and gently velvet, a subtle and nuanced combination seldom seen in the coffee world.
