Wow! What a hidden gem. Our annual Women's Christmas Tea needed some bite-sized scones and what a blessing to stumble ovre Bonjour Bakehouse for the first time. These were truly the best scones I have ever tasted - crunchy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, flavors unique and perfect. We ordered the Bacon & Pancetta, Regular, and Gluten-free Scones for our event. Ingrid went above and beyond in making the catering order process smooth and easy. We were even running behind to pickup, yet she was so warm, kind, and patient about it. If you are wondering whether to utilize Bonjour Bakehouse for any event or even just for your own snack, look no further. This place is it!

(Was hoping to get some good pictures, but our guests were obsessed with the scones and snagged them all before we we could get a good picture. If you look closely, you can find crumbles of it on our guests' plates. Next year though! :P)

Even if I did not live so dangerously close to this delicious bakery… I would still go every day they’re open. The coffee drinks are amazing, there’s a reason they were finalist in the San Francisco Bay croissant bake off. The croissants are amazing. Same with the scones. I’ve never had better scone in my life. It’s great to send cookies to friends because they’re absolutely delicious also. The staff is very fun And very enjoyable.
It’s great to support an independent business that cares about the environment. Everything that they have is compostable from their coffee cups to the lids to napkins to the utensils.

Bonjour Bake House is a hidden gem in San Mateo! The pastries are fresh, buttery, and absolutely delicious—each bite feels like a little trip to France. The attention to detail in both flavors and presentation is outstanding. The owner and chef, Ingrid, is an incredible person whose talent truly shines through in everything she creates. We’re lucky to order from them often, and they’re also perfect for catering. Highly recommend!

Australians pining for real espresso with good quality pastries and croissants, here is a great choice. Classic "hole in the wall" coffee with outdoor seats in the sun. Delightful people. Parking may require exploring the surrounding streets.

I tried a couple of scones with the ginger tumeric latte for the first time yesterday morning. The latte was fantastic, you can tell that the ingredients are high quality. The scones blew my mind. I had a lox scone and a chocolate chip scone. These are literally the best scones I have ever eaten in my entire life. I bought two extra to bring to a friend's house. She raved about them as well (pear scone and mushroom). All day long I was day dreaming about getting more today, which I did, with delicious results!!

Best neighborhood cafe in Burlingame! My boyfriend and I love a Friday morning waffle and coffee from here! 10/10 would recommend.

Delicious coffee and cinnamon scones. Very friendly staff. Entrance is a small door on the right side of the building, the remainder of the shop is not open to the public. You can get to and use the restroom easily.

Bonjour Bakehouse did an amazing job with our customized cookies for a company party! The cookies were beautiful, delicious, and a huge hit with everyone. Ingrid and her team were super accommodating and made the whole process seamless. Highly recommend for any special event!
