On a recent visit from Ohio, we stopped into this adorable chocolate shop. Mark greeted us with a warm welcome and a lovely array of samples. He walked us through the process of making the chocolate and spent extensive time explaining the origin of high quality ingredients, as well as the flavor profile of each chocolate. The flavor was superb and it was very evident that extensive time, research and creativity goes into creating each type of chocolate. I’m not usually a huge fan of chocolate, but I cannot get enough of Blue Spruce Chocolates and I will be dreaming about their bars until I can make my way back to the Rockies and pick up more! My taste buds are still singing and I’m sure yours will be too if you get a taste of this chocolate!

Walked in today on a whim while waiting for our dinner reservation across the street. WOW am I glad we did! Artisan chocolate making at its finest and lots of great vegan options for my dairy free husband. Don’t miss the not quite white!

My husband and I wandered into blue spruce chocolate today and what a delightful experience! Mark was extremely knowledgeable and explained all the various flavor profiles and where the cocoa beans were sourced from. All the samples were delicious and we cannot stop eating the chocolate we came home with. We will definitely be back with friends and family.

We were surprised to find that they had tons of vegan options. Usually smaller mountain towns don’t have vegan options at all.

The owner was so nice and they had samples of all of their chocolates. Lots of dark chocolate options but they also had oat milk chocolate and oat milk sugar free chocolate. I’d highly recommend stopping by. Parking was really easy too.

Mark and Yuri have a lovely shop and are so wonderfully enthusiastic about the ingredient sourcing and quality of their chocolates. Tried the caramel white chocolate which was out of this world (and I don't usually care for white choc) and took home some 72% dark with roasted hazelnuts. It is EXCELLENT.
