Here’s the updated menu options. I do agree with some other reviews here, the cashiers can be impatient when you’re trying to review what they got. Asking you a ton of questions, “Can we help you look/ Are you interested in…/ Anything specific you’re looking for”. It can be pretty bombarding, especially when their menu is this big. However, the food is delicious. Never disappointed in the quality of taste

OMG! Black Forest Foods Cafe and Deli.is a total GEM 💎! Staff was incredibly friendly. Amazing salads - the Mountaineer with Salmon and the Beet. There was a creative variety of vegetables along with dried pears and apricots. The salmon had excellent flavors and was a good portion size as well. I wanted about 8 things on the menu! We sat outside in the shade to enjoy lunch. I will definitely go back whenever I am in Monument. Second visit - I brought 7 people this time! I tried the waygu brisket sandwich with fries - I wasn't as excited with this as I expected. It was a bit more fatty and chewy than I thought, flavors were good. One friend had half soup and half salad and the others had various salads, soups and sandwiches. I also had a latte with chocolate cake and red velvet cake shared between us. Super busy lunchtime on Friday in September!

Thought I'd give this place a try. It seems popular with a steady customer flow. Great food, I had a gyro salad. Friendly staff. However, the place is somewhat cluttered, and my view of the outdoor cooking area is not very appealing. It just needs to be cleaned up a bit. I'll be back...

The salad was good, it was an interesting mix of flavors. I wish the salmon wasn’t as dry as it was, but still good overall. I would love to return and try one of their sandwiches next time - the smells coming from the kitchen were promising!

Ohhhh!! One of the best sandwiches ever!! I had the combo half Greek salad and tri state club, my husband had the elk burger. Everything was delicious, and Danielle is awesome! We'll be back!! Update-we came back several times and also brought our kids. Everything was still as delicious as the first time! The kids loved it too! Yummmm!!

Best lunch spot in all of Colorado! My boyfriend and I came here yesterday and I got the Reuben and he got the black forest chicken sandwich. The corned beef was the best I’ve ever had! We were amazed by both. We came back today for breakfast and got the breakfast sandwich with sausage. The owners were extremely friendly. The male owner served our food to us and wanted us to try the garlic aioli for our tater tots so he brought a side of it out to us. Everything was incredible!

Black Forest Cafe serves some of the BEST food in the entire southern Colorado region. The Mediterranean/European inspiration makes this spot so unique and with a menu that would be hard to find anywhere around. They use fresh, high quality ingredients that always show through in the flavors of the food. We eat here often and the dishes are always so consistent. It's also fantastic that they have hard to find grocery items like fresh eggs, bread, and unique foods as well. Our only wish was that the whole place was bigger so more people could enjoy their food!

They have gourmet sandwiches. The french fries are the best I've ever had. They say they're a deli but they bring the food out to you.
