Vanessa reached out to me and wanted me to give it another try. I appreciate the gesture and reordered a couple of the items I ordered previously (newer cook, so I understand).
The Birria tacos were much better and flavorful. I do think they would be best eaten right away though. Looked like the pictures and enjoyed them!
The enchiladas were also much better. They had no beans and the red sauce was on them this time.
I did try the Asada Fries and OMG. Delicious!
If you haven’t tried them or this if your first time trying this place, I would definitely recommend them!

I didn’t want to delete my original review since I wanted everyone to know that they made it right and took the time to reach out to me.

I tried this place out tonight for dinner after seeing so many people rave about it… I spent $54 and got food that had absolutely no flavor😡
The pictures did not match what we got. The tacos were bland & soggy, the enchiladas bland and no red sauce (actually they used the beans as sauce🤨), not refried beans (pinto beans), mushy rice that I’ve never seen before… and the list goes on.

I had high hopes and was let down😔
I was expecting authentic Mexican food, but instead paid the authentic price, without the flavor.

i've eaten at every taco truck in Butte County and El Mariachi is 100% the Best tacos and food in Butte County. They're grilled onions I could eat a whole plate by themselves and their Barria soup is absolutely amazing and very flavorful

Just had some asada tacos and they were amazing!! Tender meat and not greasy! I found my new favorite taco truck, It just needed to be spicier for my liking.

I decided to give this place a try while visiting California, and I instantly regretted it. This taco truck is mediocre at best, and that’s being generous. The food itself was nothing to write home about—bland, underseasoned, and lacking any real flavor. But honestly, the bigger issue was the service. The employees were incredibly passive-aggressive, like they couldn’t be bothered to even pretend to care.

On top of that, the wait was ridiculous. It took forever to get my order, and I watched other customers around me getting frustrated, too. No explanation, no apology, just an attitude that made it clear they had no interest in providing a decent experience. For a simple taco, I would’ve been better off going somewhere else or making it myself. Don’t waste your time or money here.

The food here was amazing I had the birra ramen n the pastor super burrito and it was delicious 🤤 definitely coming back.told my sister n her friend about this place and they just told me they went the other day three times in one day for the qusabirra tacos 🤣great place and beautiful people the vibes are super chill the owners are awesome!!! Thank u 💯💯

I wouldn't go anywhere else to Oroville for birria! The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The food is always fresh and fantastic. I drive across town just for the tacos!

My husband & I tried this place tonight. Great service & GREAT burritos. It’s a 3 star because our street taco tortillas were soggy, and the quesabirria tacos (not pictured) also had soggy tortillas & the sauce was not like other birria sauces. BUT! The flavors were there. The meat was salted nicely and wasn’t dry. The super mariachi burritos were the best part of our experience. Great price for size and what came in the burritos.

I met the owners at WALMART very nice people - we had a conversation about their food truck and told them I will be stopping by very soon they have my favorite type of taco CRUNCHY - OHMYGOD so delicious I would recommend them FOOD IS GREAT and their staff is just as good THANK YOU AND I WILL BE COMING BY AGAIN
