Best old school dinner I've been to in a long time. Family owned, fresh ingredients and open pass thru kitchen.
The entire staff was smiling and engaging with customers.
Freshly shredded carrots in my carrot cake pancakes were a delicious treat!
Well be back many times, I'm sure!

We finally made it here for breakfast, very convenient & quaint local cafe! The staff was friendly and attentive, offering us coffee/tea refills continually served up with a little convo. We liked how quiet and peaceful it was. Mostly seniors like us at tables. The cafe is clean but needs some updates, like the worn & torn carpet, and art and color on the walls would really help brighten it (clearly decorated by a guy lol) Food: dh got his usual veggie omelet, nice fresh avocado on top, and hash browns - all standard fare. I ordered the "blintzes" but found it disappointing as they make basic pancakes and fill them with cream cheese; the mixed berry topping was sparse and soggy, in a thin syrup. Server added a dish of whip cream which I appreciated--but these were not blintzes in any way. I'd not order them again but would return to try another dish.

The food is always amazing! I always get the biscuits and gravy. I am picky with how I like my gravy is cooked, but they already make it the way I love it! It's so smooth. My husband loves the Chicken Fried steak and he swears on it! The portions are amazing and it's a small family owned place. They're doing pretty good!!
I do have to say there were some girls that work there, last time we were there, that fell asleep at the bar or were on their phone when I was trying to get their attention. It was a while ago tho.
The best thing is that on Sunday they have an all you can eat if you aren't that hungry and want to make your own portions. Again the service is great, the food is amazing and I'd be DEVIATED if they ever had to leave!!

Food is good.
Service is poor. Waiters are not attentive at all. When placing your order make sure they wrote it down correct, then make sure they fulfill it the way you asked. After 30 minutes of waiting your order will be ready but not the way you asked😂
Do not worry, there is a grocery store around the corner 😊

Great service and amazing food!! It’s a winning combination. We enjoyed senior breakfasts either perfectly cooked eggs and sausage patties and awesome specialty pancakes. One had the cinnamon roll pancake and the other had the carrot cake pancake. Both were as delicious as they sound.

I called this place on my birthday to have a birthday breakfast at home with my family. I was placed on hold and forgotten. Multiple call attempts later, my husband decided to just go in person. He sat at the counter waiting for someone to take his order, but the employee was too busy chatting to notice him. When she finally did, she said, “Oh, I thought you were just sitting there.”
He ordered our and requested the egg on the side for one dish due to an egg intolerance. He watched the cook realize he put the egg in the to-go box instead of on the side, so the cook scooped the scrambled eggs out of the to-go box and into a separate container. When he brought the food home, the “no-egg” dish was covered in pieces of egg, making it completely inedible. This dish was also so extremely small. If it had been edible, it would have been a meal for a child.
For the time spent and how expensive this order was, this experience was beyond disappointing. We won’t be back.

This place has been here 15 years and I'm just now hearing about it. Well, so glad I know now. Went for breakfast but can order anything off the menu. They also serve lunch and close at 2. I ordered poached eggs with an English muffin and hash browns. My poached eggs were cooked PERFECTLY. They won me over right there but all the food was really good. HUGE MENU FRIENDLY STAFF QUICK SERVICE.
