Best Italian food! First time visiting Ridgway and this place did not disappoint at all! Fabulous service and everything we got was amazing- so much flavor and cooked to perfection. We had the salmon dinner, kids filet steak, kids fettuccini Alfredo and Rosa tortellini. Even their peppered butter was great. We will definitely be back.

Make no mistake, the food here is excellent. The rib-eye steak in pepper sauce is possibly the best I've ever eaten, and the fact that the main dishes include an entrée makes the meal more affordable. Not only that but also the entrée that I had (acorn squash and shrimp bisque) was one of the best soups that I've come across! Great cheffing! The drinks are also good - nice wines, G&Ts and Espresso Martinis. Staff are nice and helpful. The only small thing is that I found the restaurant a little dark, but the food more than makes up for that. What a gem in Ridgway!

By far the BEST restaurant we have ever been to!! The service is outstanding and you are greeted and seated by a true gentleman! The Caesar salad and beef Wellington are the best you will ever find, and everything else we had was top notch as well! Chris recommended an amazing wine, and if we could give Bella Vino 10 stars we would! True authentic Italian, family run restaurant. Bella Vino has a special place in our hearts as we dined on our honeymoon! Thank you Bella Vino!

I recently visited Bella Vino, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was by far the worst Italian meal we've had in the USA. The dishes lacked flavor and authenticity, which was a real letdown considering the restaurant's reputation.

While the serving staff were friendly and attentive, the reception was a different story. The hostess was rude, and the overall hospitality was poor. It made the dining experience feel uncomfortable right from the start.

It's a shame, because the waitstaff were doing their best, but the food quality and lack of warmth at the front of the house left a lot to be desired. I would not recommend this restaurant for an authentic Italian dining experience.

Food was meh. My boyfriend's was pretty good, he said. But not great, and not what he was expecting based on the menu description.

Look, I get it. I'm a vegan trying to eat at a nicer Italian restaurant so my boyfriend can enjoy a date night dinner, and I HATE asking for accommodation based on this, so I checked the menu before I came. They have vegetarian items on menu; spaghetti with marinara with no cheese is automatically accidentally vegan; it's definitely regular dry wheat spaghetti.

Unfortunately, as is the case with most places in Colorado, they majorly overcooked the noodles. They were extremely well done, but not quite mushy. The marinara was OK... had chunks of green bell pepper which I'm personally just not a fan of in pasta sauce. It's a very western thing.

I'm sure if I ordered something more robust if I wasn't vegan, it would have been better.
Service was still outstanding and very accommodating.

We probably won't go back, but if you don't have food restrictions, give it a try.

One of the best restaurants in Ouray County!. had a wonderful birthday dinner there last night (Dec 2024), and everything was perfect…from the service, ambience, the duck and complimentary desert. loved it!!

We had the pleasure of dining at the new Bella Vino Restaurant in Ridgway last night (12/21/22). This is the new location of the restaurant formerly known as The Bon Ton, in Ouray, CO. The Bella Vino has the same wonderful menu, excellent service (starting with deceptively young Jamison seating us...he must be older than 9 for as mature and professional he is), and now in a new wrapper in the Ridgway location. We HIGHLY recommend the Bella Vino as a moderately priced, upscale restaurant in our beautiful town. Thank you, Chris and Taryn, for your remarkable effort to re-open this new location in record time without missing a beat!!
