Hands down for this wonderful hidden gem in San Mateo! The Atmosphere is very inviting, cozy and delightful, with friendly staff. The decor is beautifully done with a touch of spanish elegance.

We decided to try a few tapas to satisfy our appetites, and we were blown away by the quality and flavor of every dish. The portions were small but perfectly satisfying, and each bite was a culinary masterpiece.

The quail egg crostini was a standout, with the creamy yolk complementing the rich, buttery toast perfectly. The black truffle mushroom was another winner, with its earthy aroma and satisfying texture. Even the oregano octopus, while not as mind-blowing as the other dishes, was still delicious.

This is the place to go! We can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious tapas.

Amazing atmosphere with cozy and warm decor, makes me feel like home! The food is just great, every dish prepared with full of flavor. Worth a visit! I'll highly recommend it to friends and will be coming back for sure 🙂

Came here yesterday to celebrate our anniversary. It was a pleasant experience to dine here. Service was great. Food was great too. We ordered 6 dishes and they were all delicious. The only negative this g is that their portion was on the smaller size of the spectrum.

Really cute place!! Food is good, but pricey for small plates…. But it is tapas! The restaurant is so cute inside, very nice environment. Everything we tried was good, and I would order most again, the cavatappi pasta was just ok, gnocchi was better, and shrimp were good! The crostini was our favorite of all of these for sure. Our service was quick, and then menu had a lot of options as well. I think it’s a nice place to stop for a drink and a snack, but I would probably not go for a full meal.

It's quite a cute Spanish tapas restaurant that strives for an elevated and classy experience but ends up feeling more homey and overpriced instead.

Local goat cheese: Get!
Enjoyed this a lot. The balance of sweet, salty, creamy, and texture was a delight to start with.

There wasn't much depth in most of these items and the flavor profiles weren't as composed as i would have hoped.

Paella: Skip
Accurately taking 40 minutes.... it did not accurately serve 4 people. It was still somewhat enjoyable but still not as fragrant as I would have hoped.

Our servers were very attentive, polite, and friendly and I really appreciated that.

Just like the name, there is something about Amour that overflows with homely love and coziness. Lots of love in the food, the atmosphere, etc.

Food is awesome and well presented. Imagine home style dishes served in a pseudo Michelin-star manner. The taste is truthful to the ingredients and very honest. No fooling around. No cover ups. Just good ingredients put together well with love and care. Tastes great!

Make sure to grab their dessert. We tried all of them and absolutely worth it. Desserts were pricey compared to other dishes but it feels more like a fancy patisserie cafe in its taste and presentation.

Absolutely a jewel for date night or a small gathering of friends.

Service was friendly but they were extremely understaffed. Make sure you make reservations.
