Otto’s food cart was recommended during a long weekend in Fairplay/Alma and it’s soOoOoOo tasty! I mean, peep the photo in this review and tell me that doesn’t look just amazing!! I was deciding between breakfast and lunch with their famous fried chicken and the gentleman asks me, “Why not have both?!” Now, this was the point I knew this place was going to deliver and deliver it did!! The homie in back, Devon, made me the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! And there was a fried hash brown on top?!!! Fuhgettaboutit! Get over to Otto’s Food Cart for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!!

We finally caved and drove TWO HOURS EACH WAY for this food cart. My husband was diagnosed with Celiac's in the past few years, and it's hard to get a safe chicken sandwich for him. I was suspicious of all the good reviews to begin with, but allergen conscious on top of it?

Yeah.

The reviews aren't lying. We made the trip a second time almost 3 months later, and it was exactly as good.

This is in the top 3 fried chicken sandwiches we've ever had, gluten free bun considered. Best we've had in Colorado. The chicken is crispy, juicy, flavorful. I get the one with hashbrowns, and it's a whole dream sandwich.

Everything comes out HOT. Tired of hour old rubber fries? We ordered a box to take home, and they were still audibly sizzling when he handed them to us. So, of course, after already sharing an order, we naturally ate half on the way to the car.

We, personally, love the sweet potatoes with Cajun seasoning and blue cheese to dip them in. But I know fries preference is a really personal thing.

The people working the food shack are SO friendly, helpful, sweet, and on top of things that it feels full-service even though it's just a food truck with outdoor seating.

And that outdoor seating is PRIME. The views in this area are gorgeous, and it's so refreshing to enjoy the open air and delicious food together.

The two things I regret are not being able to eat more chicken and fries in a day, and not finding out about this place sooner.

If you're able to go, do it! Enjoy it! It's a great excuse to enjoy a mountain drive, and the reward is wonderful!

Chicken sandwiches are on my top 10 favorites foods list so I’m very picky when it comes to chicken sandwiches. That being said, Otto’s Food Cart DID NOT disappoint. I had the Cajun fried chicken sandwich and it was just the right amount of crisp, spice, and absolutely enormous which makes it well worth the $15. I highly recommend stopping by this food cart next time you’re passing through Alma.

WOW WOW WOW!!!! My husband and I are visiting Colorado. We were driving to the hot springs and decided to stop by this place on the way for a quick lunch. This was by far ONE OF THE MOST DELICIOUS THINGS WE HAVE EVER EATEN!!!!! The best chicken sandwich - huge, perfectly fried, flavorful!!! Not to mention the delicious toppings on top (? Slaw). I got the hot honey chicken sandwich. We also go the fries (loaded with bacon and cheese), which were the most delicious fries as well. This place needs to be on TV!!!!! 5 stars all the way!!!!!

We stopped here (Otto location) on our back to Texas from Breckenridge on Monday. The service and food were amazing. My daughter said the Kritzy (hope I’m spelling that correctly) was the best sandwich she’s ever had! The guy working there (wish I could remember his name) was so very sweet and working hard but made the time to also talk with us. He loves his job and it showed in every aspect of our visit!! Next visit to Breckenridge, this will def be a stop!!! Best food trailer ever!!!

My husband has been here several times and I finally got to experience the hype! He usually comes through Alma CO on a Friday and he orders the fish sandwich every time but today he had to try something new since we came on a Tuesday.

We got the Hot Strami, the Colassel Cajun chicken, and a chicken sandwich special which we cannot remember the name of.

This place is very much worth the hype! The sandwiches are massive and everything is full of flavor and tastes Quality! The chicken on the sandwiches is juicy and crispy and they load on the toppings!

Stopped to grab some lunch after working nearby. This is a cool spot!! Definitely glad I ate here. The guy that helped me was very helpful and kind! They have plenty of choices and my burrito and fries were delicious!! You can get breakfast all day too!!!
