Absolutely DELICIOUS coffee and pastries! This was the best cappuccino I had during my visit to Boulder. The pastries were phenomenal, and my only regret is not eating more. If available, get the kouign amann. It was amazingly buttery and crispy. I also got a bag of "Barenuckle" to brew at home, and it was full flavored, bold, and perfectly roasted.

Excellent coffee prepared well. Come for the espresso, stay for the pastries. Mourn the former Daedalus deli that is out of biz in the same location. Worth the wait (but come off peak if possible). Chairs are all uncomfortable and encourage moving on promptly.

Boxcar offers the highest quality coffee experience out of everywhere in Boulder.

Any hot drink from Boxcar is outstanding. My personal favorites are the lattes and hot chocolates. They also have pastries and other baked goods.

It’s more expensive than most other coffee shops on Pearl Street, but the higher quality product makes up for it.

They also have a store with many different types of coffee and other gifts.

I always stop here when I’m in Boulder. Great shop with quality baristas and there’s always a single origin espresso option, which I really appreciate. Cute vibes inside with lots of plants, and usually enough seating indoors. Definitely worth a visit!

Cozy small coffee shop with fine coffee and pastries to start your morning. I had a trip for Rocky Mountain National Park and had been in cities around (Estes Park, Allenspark, Nederland, Grand Lake, Greatby Lake, and etc.) and couldn’t find any place that can beat Boxcar!

They offers seasonal drink that you might want to give it a try.

Pastries is a must. I had a butter croissant and wanted to try couple more. But the line was getting longer than I anticipated (~8AM). So I ended up dreaming about it 🤤.

The place is shared with Dedalus Wine where they also sell cheese, chocolate, salami and etc.
