We had a blast here!!! We had a great experience with the staff!! They were so nice and polite to us. I can't believe how nice the atmosphere was in this business. You have customers playing board games, then you have the book store, and the back of the store had live music. They have a good thing going.

Such great vibes for either studying ( if you dont mind some coffeeshop background noise) or hanging out with friends or just to hang out by yourself. Super nice and friendly baristas and everyone brings in a peaceful and curious energy. Definitely my favorite Café in Boulder!

What a delightful place! I felt as though I had stepped back in time, back before Starbucks, when coffee houses were places where ideas and friendships were nourished. The adjoining bookstore was similar - a return to the time before Barnes & Noble, before B. Dalton, when book shops offered a fertile ground for our dreams and hopes and imaginative learning. These days, it is rare to find such a rich experience like this in a simple “store” or “shop.” Trident is a real treasure, and shows us that deep connections can still accompany a cup of coffee or an interesting book. I had a hot chocolate that was delicious, and my pal had an espresso or something similarly fancy. Which he thought was great! The seats and tables were all taken except for one that we luckily were able to grab. Almost everyone on their tech, but a few customers actually reading books.

My parents went here back in '94 and it's still around for me to enjoy which is so cool! I frequent the Monday Night Language exchange and my go to order is a cappuccino. They serve a quality product but above all, I return to Trident often because of the community. My Spanish is getting better and I have met the most wonderful and interesting people there.

My friend and I took a break from our work on the mall and when to have a drink at Trident. This was my first visit and I had no idea that such a cute little bookstore and coffee shop existed. They have a nice covered outside area where they have live music as well. I'm so glad I was introduced to this place and what definitely be back to visit again.

Cute little bookshop with a great selection of books and other fun items. Coffee was delicious and they offer glassware instead of only disposable cups. They have a wonderful outdoor area out back that has shade and sun options with a ton of seating. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere!
