When you roll into 626 looking for boba and find yourself in a trifecta of options in one street corner, it can be hard to decide where to check out. Fortunately, Tea Maru holds its own and was a great spot to grab boba.

Ordering is done completely through the kiosk but I'm sure you can ask the staff any questions that may be unclear from ordering.

While it's not clear at first they do offer lactose-free and non-dairy milk options including soy, oat, and almond, all free of charge. That is usually unheard of but absolutely appreciated as someone that loved their milk teas but no longer consumes dairy. You are able to select this as you scroll through selecting your sweetness and ice levels for your drink.

I ordered a Roasted Oolong Tea Latte with oat milk and boba. I was able to enjoy the high quality oolong tea and the sweetness of the boba and sweetener was extremely satisfying. Oh, and did I mention they make their own homemade boba here apparently? They were incredibly soft and chewy.

While there isn't much room inside to stay and hangout, there's plenty of space to stand while waiting for your order.

Bathroom is 'temporarily closed' as many places have been since the pandemic. Free parking is available in a private shared lot.

The service here was incredible and the drinks were great! There was only one worker behind the counter and they made all four of our drinks in less than 10 minutes. I’d highly recommend the Sweet Potato Matcha Foam drink with brown sugar bubbles. Everything is reasonably priced!

Accessibility is good with an accessible counter height and legible menu. Fair amount of free parking.

I took away one star solely because the ambiance inside wasn’t such that i’d want to eat-in.

Grapefruit fantasy with 25% sugar was great--really strong tea flavor which I prefer. However, the homemade boba tasted off but maybe because it was midday? While I was there another customer complained that the boba was too hard but the girl making the tea was gracious enough to redo it. I would just make sure to taste your drink before leaving the store.

Highlights of the menu:
1. Wintermelon tea with cheese foam
2. Okinawa milk tea with Fresh boba
3. Uji matcha latte with taro paste & grass jelly

I try this new boba place and like it! It’s very interesting to have a machine to make small batches of fresh in-house boba. The boba is not as chewy like other places but known that the boba is freshly made with no preservatives is the good side of it. The boba flavors are delighted and not too sweet. I really enjoy their taro/yam paste!

Tea Maru is my favorite boba place!! They make the tastiest and chewiest boba that never disappoints. I like brown sugar boba the most and I always see them making it fresh!

Today, I ordered Maru Milk with lactose free milk (lifesaver) and with brown sugar boba. It was delicious!

I do recommend ordering ahead of time cause the wait is pretty long (even with ordering ahead, especially during their busy hours).

Had oolong milk tea with brown sugar boba, pretty basic. The boba is delicious, very fresh, and slightly sweet... so good. Only downside for me is there wasn't a healthy serving of boba. I would have ordered extra if I knew it contained a little less than other shops in the area. Still delicious!
