As much as I love the sorts and gadgets sold at this store; the employees and manager are not customer-friendly. After enjoying our time shopping one of the sales associate began to ring our items where none of the prices matched the shelf prices. Her reasoning was “I haven’t gotten to chance the change prices around the store yet”. My follow up to that was “I’m sorry but can you honor the shelf prices for this one time, there are other shoppers who are shopping for the prices on the shelf” and her response was “No, I can’t do that!” She called her manager an Asian female whom did not handle the situation any better. Her only response to the conflict was “There is nothing I can do …” I was so appalled by the way that the so called “manager” handled the situation. We did not end up buying anything and I hope this location reconsiders their employee structure and the dynamic between associates and customers as both were extremely rude and no where near customer-service oriented.

I purchased a wireless mouse yesterday, and it was defective. I took it back today to exchange, and they told me they can not exchange or return anything that's not in the original condition. They said it says on the receipt. The receipt that I brought back with the product read: "Return and Exchange Policy, new, unused or defective merchandise purchased in Miniso stores maybe returned and exchanged within 7days of purchase at the original store" I am not sure which part of the policy I was not following and they said they CANNOT do anything because the product has been opened. Yes, it is opened because that's how I found out it I DEFECTIVE. The part timers there were not well trained, and they kept repeating the same thing. I read the policy on the receipt because they kept saying, "Our policy says...", and they finally called the manager. The manager said that she heard everything, plus I was making a scene and talking in not well mannered way. OMG, I just read the policy on the receipt!!!! "Please tell me which part I am not following on the policy printed on the receipt!!!! She said, "unused" part I was not following. But it says OR "DEFECTIVE" and yes it is "unused" because I wasn't able to!!
So there, I was making a scene because I was following and reading their policy that they do not clearly understand. This place is not worth it.

The manager on staff today at the Miniso location in Brea mall Friday May 19th 2023 was extremely rude to my mother. She had a language barrier and didn't understand the pricing. She is 74 years old. The manager was extremely rude and stated "I can't do this, I'm on my lunch break" and walked away. I am beyond appalled at the customer service of this manager. She should not be in retail if she can't answer questions about pricing in a respectful manner. The rest of the staff were extremely respectful and nice. Management needs to look into making sure they hire the right people for the job and she needs to be retrained and reprimanded.

Such a cute store! Every time my daughter and I are at the mall we love to go in Miniso to see what new products they have. The prices are very reasonable and the employees are friendly.
