What a gem! We were in LA on Christmas Day, and with many breakfast spots closed, we stumbled upon this place by chance. The name alone—Mom, Please!—is fantastic, and the experience lived up to it.

The food exceeded our expectations: excellent coffee, and matcha latte, delicious shakshuka, and avocado toast. The oatmeal with fruit and condensed milk on top was a standout, as were the small crépe rolls with cheese, and baked to perfection. Truly special. Highly recommended!

I believe this is the best Ukrainian restaurant in all of Los Angeles. The food is consistently amazing and always fresh. It’s particularly delicious, especially the Vareniky with cherry or potato filling. I highly recommend trying the Syrniky as well. ?

Wow, what a nice surprise to find in our neighborhood. Legit and DELICIOUS Ukrainian food! The dumplings were delicious. Such good bread. Then the borscht, OMG, just the right chunkiness, with a pork rib that was to-die-for tender and delicious. Alas, our only disappointment was we were so full from that the main dishes and borscht, we could not try the delicious looking deserts. But, we did bring home an order of beef cabbage rolls (those, unfortunately are only available frozen, to go). The inside is cozy and friendly, whereas the outdoor patio is a nice setting, too. They also do catering, which I am excited to find a reason to use!

This is only the second time I've had Ukrainian food with the first being in Moscow some years ago. I say this only because it is my only point of reference. The food was very good. I was happy to try the Borscht as I have had that many times and it's always so different. Their Borscht is very good as are their dumplings. I wish their beverage selection was a little more, but it had a great meal! Thank you!

We just had the best time at this small Ukrainian diner! It's the coziest place ever, and the staff is so nice and friendly. But most importantly food—wow! The Ukrainian cuisine they serve is absolutely delicious. We had the most amazing dumplings that left me craving for more. Seriously, I can still taste them in my mouth!
Check out this place. You won't regret it!

Really enjoyed our dine in meal. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Food was very tasty. They also have frozen food options to go. Service was very friendly. Replaced a food item when it came out with nuts that I was allergic to (but didn't seem listed on the menu) without any hesitation.

Prices were a little more expensive than other Eastern European restaurants I've tried in LA, but makes sense given the location. About $16-22 per plate. Parking was a challenge. There's disability parking right in front but otherwise seems street parking is the only choice. Although we parked in guest parking in one of the garages (not sure if that was allowed).

Very tasty with everything! Incredibly cool atmosphere, friendly and good-natured staff. My favorite is blinchiki with meat and mushrooms. It's a heartbreak - how delicious. I recommend to all! The best Ukrainian restaurant!
