I came in yesterday with my husband for the first time and an older lady with white hair was working. We were the only ones in the store and I will admit I looked for about 15 minutes before deciding what all I wanted. I asked a few questions before grabbing a little box to fill with sour candy. Then I wanted a box for chocolates, she never informed me that the other section of chocolate was a different price so it required a different bag, and when she did finally tell me she was super rude and almost made me cry. I genuinely didn't know and she got upset that there was little chocolates mixed in with the bigger ones after I explained to her I grabbed from both sections and I apologized too. I know everyone has bad days sometimes, but you work at a candy shop and not every customer wants to ruin your day, so why ruin theirs? She made me feel extremely embarrassed by a little mistake I'm never going to make again now, if I ever decide going back. My husband said I could've just walked out because even he thought she was being super mean to me over a simple mistake, but I have always wanted candy from there, I'm just so upset that it wasn't as friendly of an experience as I initially thought 🙁 The candy and chocolates are very good, but that does not excuse the customer service.

I’ve been here a few times hoping for a different outcome each time. This place of business is obviously racist. Each time I’ve come in I’ve been met with harsh stares and snarky comments when asking a question, this last visit my 2 year old was with me and had to witness a worker being snide for NO REASON other than someone’s prejudices against those who do not look like her. Aside from being in a xenophobic candy store, the candy itself wasn’t that great, not fresh, and definitely up charged.

I’ve loved this place since I was little but I went yesterday and the old lady working there in there must have just been having a bad day. She asked if I had been there before which i replied yes very standard customer service. My favorite are chocolate covered sunflower seeds and you’ve moved locations a few times over the years so things change. I had separate bags for chocolate and candy and I’ve been going there since I was little and they’ve never made a big deal about getting chocolate from the cheaper section and putting it in the chocolate bag (more money for you right?!) so I don’t understand why she threw a fit at me when I asked where the chocolate covered sunflower weeds were because I actually wanted a container like you used to have not even in a bag. She scoffed at me then said “I thought you said you’ve been here” I ignored her and just said okay grabbing my chocolate bag bc it’s chocolate then she raised her voice and told me no use the bag that has sour sugary candy. I have anxiety so ofc I just didn’t want the confrontation and did it. Then was incredibly rude to me afterwards. She sat there rolling her eyes at me separating the m&ms from the rest of my chocolate bag. If she was going to do that anyways then why’d she not just let me add in the other chocolate too? I’m only saying something bc now my chocolate covered sunflower seeds are ruined and covered in sour sugar and I’m pissed. Everyone has bad days but it doesn’t mean you treat the people literally giving you money like trash.

Best place in fort smith hehe it's absolutely awesome right down the road from my house and they got a ton of choices and some pretty dang disgusting soda ;D I'll be back for sure!! Go on and stop and check them out totally worth it!! 😀 😀

I love these little candy stores. I come here a lot and get gift cards for kids that have birthdays. Around Easter I go in and buy whatever I can find to make my kids Easter baskets. The candy is always well stocked, there's always a ton to choose from, and it's always fresh. Highly recommend Candy Craze

Candy is great! Love Candy Craze the store itself. However the woman that runs the Ft. Smith location in Central Mall is not pleasant at all. She was dry, seemed very annoyed with any questions I had for her and not friendly at all!
Everyone can have a bad day and I understand that, but I went on another occasion and got the same results.
Poor costumer service, won’t be back.
