Our experience celebrating my 50th birthday & our 24th anniversary with Mary’s organic 3 course meal was exceptional. I surprised my husband w/the dinner & music by Tyler Carson. The gluten free carrot cake & carrot ginger soup was the best I’ve ever eaten! The company & conversation w/Jay & Mary was even better! Highly recommend her soul food services to anyone visiting Sedona!

My husband and I had a micro wedding last May and we were so lucky that our planners recommended Mary and Jay to organize our wonderful wedding dinner. We cannot express adequately in words the gratitude we feel towards Mary, Jay and all of the stuff for providing us a dining experience like no other. The food itself was incredible. We cannot recall any meal that was quite like the one prepared by Mary. Preparation for reception took a couple of calls and they took everything into account: allergies, preferences and Mary even experimented for several days with a special Russian dish that I requested, made it perfect and served for all the guests! Mary and Jay's incredible vision, love for what they do and thoughtful approach towards preparing events made our wedding reception unforgettable. The atmosphere they created - intimate, yet formal, structured, yet loving, allowed us and our guests to share an evening that I know we will all cherish.

We came back to the dinner behind the schedule from a beautiful ceremony, and this incredible marked the perfect end of one of the best days of our lives. Our expectations for the dinner were high, and the team Mary and Jay assembles exceeded all of them. They will have our sincerest gratitude for making this celebration so much more joyous. Thank you, Mary and Jay, from the bottom of our hearts!

Had the most incredible time with Mary & Jay! The entire evening was exactly as stated: an experience. The ambience, the warmth of their hospitality, and genuine care to creating an amazing evening was unmatched. If there was ever a dinner or evening in Sedona that needed amazing food, at a ridiculously affordable price, and an attention to detail that is unparalleled, look no further. To get both delicious and nutritious food that is cooked with love and soul and then plated beautifully… I wish we lived closer to experience Date & Dine more often. They have no competition in Sedona.

We hired Mary for our 30th vow renewal and we are so glad we did. She added such a special touch to our day. From listening exactly to what we wanted to create to the day of, we could not be happier. You can feel the love she puts in her cooking and for what she does. Her food was delicious, I dream of it still. We even had our nephew who is.a picky eater and he ate seconds. The way she explained each dish and her presentation was a work of art. Thank you Mary, our day was much more special because of you.

Dinner with Mary and Jay was simply fabulous in every respect. Four of us dined with them at their place last night.

To start, I’ve not encountered a more talented cook than Mary. Even if the rest of the experience had been subpar (far from it), tasting the wonders that come from her kitchen is worth the evening. I’ve not seen that much effort go into a salad, and it was a symphony orchestra of flavors going off in my mouth. Incredibly complex and delicious. And the other two courses were just as impressive.

As for Jay, his hosting skills are extraordinary. He’s a passionate man with a unique ability to engage his dinner guests with meaningful, memorable dialogue. It sounds hokey, but I feel like we all learned important things from him, and we’ll take those life lessons with us.

In all, there are far too few people who are willing to open their homes and share their formidable talents with people. If you’re in Sedona and want a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, you should do this. You’ll be very glad you did.
