We've been here several times and love 1913 more each time! The freshest ingredients, the wonderful flavors, the best bread pudding ever!! And the charming, kind, and helpful wait staff - fabulous 💖 I can't recommend enough!

I have now been in Southern California for two weeks for work. I stopped here as a pass-through to grab lunch. It was the best meal I have had this trip, the Miso Salmon Bowl was tasty and healthy and Keke was great to interact with.

I absolutely love eating at 1913 on City of Hope's campus. Not only is the food impeccable, fresh, and healthy, but the service is also wonderful. Every time I visit, I try something different and I am never disappointed. Their sandwiches, salads, and bowl options are always made to order. The ambiance is refreshing, with glass windows surrounding the restaurant, as well as a beautiful patio. Your purchase also supports City of Hope's mission, which is a hospital looking to find cures for cancer and diabetes. Highly recommend.

Last time we had 20+ people and had to sit outside when it was very hot. The experience was not so good.
This time we have 2 people and booked a table inside. There are not too many tables. The environment is bright and clean. All waiters and waitresses are polite, but seem to be very busy. The food is great. I like the salmon bowl. Best salmon I have ever.

The sides especially the salad are nice. I like the fresh lemon juice on top of vegetables. The sandwich bread tasted burnt which didn't impress me.
We made reservations for a group lunch. It might be because there wasn't enough seating indoor, so let us eat outside. It was too hot to eat outside at lunch time in this season and the heat made me lose my appetite. Slightly disappointed for this.

Magnificent vibe. I enjoyed the portobello mushroom atop moz, egg, sautéed red onions; homemade roast beef & potatoes; scrambled eggs atop steamed spinach, asparagus, cherry tomatoes & mushrooms with a quaint side of yogurt parfait. Of course, this meal would not be completed without an eye-catching morning mimosa.

What an amazing experience!! 1913 is located in City of Hopes hotel. It is a beautiful gem. You would never know it's there. I went last night for dinner with my Pink sisters. From the decor, greeting on arrival, to the service from Dominic, food, and drinks.... Everything was an A+. I ate the Casablanca chicken. It was a breast of chicken fillet served on top of Yukon gold mash with asparagus and a beautiful demi glaze mushroom sauce. The plate was a beautiful platter that was warm. The chicken was packed with flavor to accompany the butter Yukon mashed potatoes. The sauce was a perfect blend of richness. I chose the Sandia lime mocktails. Boy that did not disappoint. As soon as it came to the table ... I was in awe.. it was served in a short glass on the rocks garnished with a caramelized dried lime. Just BEAUTIFUL! I took dessert home Togo. I got the lemon blueberry cheesecake. I was so excited when I opened my container. It was plated with love. The tables are filled dressed with white linens, yellow napkins and beautiful silverware. You will also have wine and water glasses. The decor is modern with an old sophisticated feel. Seating is comfortable and spacious. There is plenty of parking and a valet! Valet is $4.00 or $2.00 for disability plaque Thank you 1913!!! I will be back. Can't wait to try your pozole

We had some family we wanted to grab dinner with and in an effort to meet in the middle from IE and LA, I stumbled across 1913 Restaurant.

Overall - a very enjoyable experience with truly excellent food and great service.

The major thing to note, it’s in the first floor of a healthcare building, which is a bit odd if you think you’re coming into a stand alone restaurant experience. When looking on the website, this detail eluded me, but we had a nice time nonetheless.

The finishes are very nice and overall, they do a good job of making it feel separate from the other happenings.

Food was truly great. I highly recommend the pork chop, one of the best I’ve had in recent memory. Everyone else in our party, enjoyed their food as well as appetizers and desserts (the cheesecake was great!)

Our server Ariana was stellar.

Overall, great experience!
